Battlestar Galactica is a groundbreaking science fiction series that originally aired from 2004 to 2009, serving as a reimagining of the 1978 classic. The show is set in a distant star system where humans have created the Cylons, a race of sentient robots that turn against their creators. After a devastating Cylon attack, the surviving humans flee aboard a fleet of spaceships, led by the aging warship Battlestar Galactica, under the command of Commander William Adama (Edward James Olmos).
