Does a great job of cleaning my lenses. Every time I use it I feel like I am putting in a fresh pair of contacts.
Peroxi Clear cleaned my contacts well enough for my eyes to be comfortable all day. My contacts are also more moist, and that is usually a problem for me. The contacts I wear were supposed to last two weeks and before Peroxi Clear they wouldn't last more than a few days even with cleaning them well. My contacts are expensive and I was highly disappointed with them until I found Peroxi Clear. I read all instructions and had no problems with Peroxi Clear. One time I got a tiny bit of it in the corner of my eye but washed it out quickly and was able to wear my contacts all day.
This system is easy to use and only takes 4 hours to clean and disinfect. I don't know what the first reviewer didn't like, maybe change. If you use this product you will enjoy the ease of use, the simplicity and how your lenses will feel.
I have only used this once, but I LOVE IT! Makes your contact lens so clear just like when you put new ones in. Just make sure you read the directions. If you need to rinse them use sensitive eyes plus saline solution. would recommend.
I had been wearing my last pair for over 5 months. Used a coupon for this thinking it was just another solution. Made them feel like a brand new pair!
I can't rave enough about this product. I purchased this contacts solution while I was visiting the states and it is the only thing that works for my eyes. I have super sensitive and dry eyes which feel irritated upon the exposure to dust, multipurpose solutions, eye drops with preservatives etc. I used to use the ClearCare peroxide system because any other multipurpose solution caused my eyes to feel uncomfortable and irritated. ClearCare was good for cleaning my contacts, but where it failed is retaining moisture all day. Before Peroxiclear, I could only wear contacts for 4 hours max before I had to take them out. So I really couldn't study or work with my contacts. Peroxiclear is the ONLY thing that allows me to wear contact lenses all day with no irritation or foreign body sensation in my eyes. I love this product so much that whenever I travel to the States I buy like 6-10 bottles because it isn't sold here in Canada. So if you have sensitive and irritation-prone eyes I seriously recommend that you try this thing! I noticed some people saying it stings or doesn't neutralize properly? I'm not quite sure what that is about. I've used peroxide-based system for 2 years now and as long as you're following instructions it should work. So make sure you store it in room-temperature environment because it won't neutralize in the 4 hours if the temperature is too low. If you're really concerned about stinging, just buy some saline solution to rinse the contacts in before putting them in the eye. Peroxide systems are the gold standard for cleaning contact lenses, especially for people with sensitive eyes who have bad reactions to the preservatives in multi-purpose solutions.
I have been using Clear Care, but my eye doctor gave me a sample of peroxi clear, saying that the lenses only needed to soak for a minimum of 4 hrs, vs. 6 for CC. I tried it twice, soaking them for 7 hours the first time, 9 the second time. When I first put the lenses in my eyes, everything seems fine, then 15-20 minutes later, they start burning. I have to take them out and wear glasses. This sometimes happens with CC too if I wait exactly 6 hours, but 9 hrs is always enough. I don't know why it doesn't work for me. As far as the lens case goes, I like that just fine. The small 3 oz bottle of peroxi clear is harder to squeeze due to the plastic being extremely rigid. Don't know if the larger bottles are the same way. I will be sticking with Clear Care.
I have been using hydrogen peroxide cleaning systems since 1986, I think they are the best and have NEVER had a problem with any of them. This one - yuck! I have been having vision problems all day. I used it last night on lenses that are just fine and I can hardly see today. They feel fine but my vision is blurry and I feel like I have to keep readjusting the position of my toric lenses to get them to stay in position to see clearly. Since I have done NOTHING different in my handling or wearing of the lenses, I can only attribute this discomfort to the new cleaning solution. Thank goodness I have a bottle of Clear Care and a case on hand. I will be throwing out this Peroxi Clear and sticking with the tried and true.
This product was OK when I first started using it, but after about a month's use (about 1/2 a bottle) my eyes started burning/stinging badly when I would first put my contacts. It would last about a minute to 90 seconds, my eyes watering and red. It was very painful. So I started Googling trying to figure out what was wrong with my eyes, not even remembering I had started using a new product recently. I have used Clear Care for probably 10 years, but I tried this new Bausch+Lomb product because I figured all these hydrogen peroxide disinfectants were the same and it was a couple dollars cheaper. That day I went out and bought Clear Care. That was four days ago and my eyes have been fine, no pain or stinging whatsoever when I put my contacts in. I was afraid I was developing dry eye syndrome, but it was definitely this product hurting my eyes. I'm sticking with Clear Care.
I used this product only twice and the second time, it felt like my eyes were engulfed in flames. When I was finally able to get the contact out of my eye, I flushed it with my husband's solution and was able to get the contact back in. Unfortunately, it looked like a bad case of pink eye. Definitely not the solution for me. I'll be switching back to my original.
