Had trouble finding it consistently at local pharmacies, and it was pretty pricey too. Found it at Walmart at reasonable price and from now on plan to order a 3 mo. supply and have it shopped. Works very well and am quite pleased I found a solution to this supply issue. Thanks!

My ophthalmologist recommended this product when I was diagnosed as being in the very early stages of macular degeneration. It's the only product on the market right now that helps with this disease (that's why I am giving this 4 stars). I have just started using it so can't report yet on the results.
The price for this product was the lowest I could find. It was also a product not readily available elsewhere.
I really don't know what to say about this product. I've been taking it since February for early onset macular degeneration and I will have no real idea if it is doing anything at all until my next visit in Feb. of 2018. The pills are small and easy to swallow. I've had no improvement in my vision in any form so far. I have read other reviews where people say they can see a difference but I'm not experiencing anything as of yet. Maybe it will take longer. However, I have been drinking a glass of kale, spinach, half an apple, berries, banana and half a carrot every day which did, I sincerely believe, got rid of the blobs of floaters that were really causing a serious visual problem. Maybe the Areds 2 is part of that, I don't know. I think it's a good product since it is recommended by just about everyone with EOMD. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have taken these for more than 5 years. I developed macular degeration and it was quickly advancing but with areds type vitamins it has reduced the size of the problem areas and has prevented it from advancing. I switch to this brand because it was easier to swallow than the others.
