So far so good, we use them to lock our desk drawers. My toddler pulls on them and fiddles with them a bit but, hasn't broken the locks or pulled them off yet. I still wouldn't leave your toddler alone in a room for long lengths of time to pull at the locks especially if there is anything dangerous you locked up to begin with. They were easy to stick on after cleaning the area and come with adhesive pads and keys. They are good enough to keep supervised toddlers out of stuff but, if your looking to lock up money or other valuables I'd get something better or a safe.
We were experiencing issues with refrigerator piarates at my job - so I ordered this lock. It is strong, easy to install, and easy to use. In addition to keeping “refrigerator pirates” from taking things out of my refrigerator, it offers a sense of security- protecting me from things being added to my food without my knowledge. I would definitely recommend for anyone with a personal refrigerator in an office.
This works great! I have on a long term diet and have recently been struggling with the late night munchies and over eating while everyone else is sleeping. My husband is such a great sport. I can easily lock up the cabinets, refrigerator or freezers with this amazing little lock and he keeps the key safety hidden away from me. I put one on your freezer and now I can not sneak into that freezer at night for any frozen bread or ice cream or anything fattening. This lock is surprisingly very sturdy and a great buy. Very happy with it. THANK GOD!!
I actually got these to secure my washer and dryer from my son's 8 month old 90 lb puppy. He stays in the laundry room when we aren't home and he's so smart he figured out how to open the pedestals. He was destroying the toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, grocery bags, etc...that I store in there. Since installing these, he can't open the pedestals! (I do have 1 on each side because it didnt seem as secure with just having 1 in the middle- as he is really strong). These keep him out, but are also easy enough for me to unlatch when I need into the pedestal drawer.
I got these to help my son not raid the frig at night. The adhesion is great and once locked, no one can go in the frig or freezer until I unlock it in the morning. I also don’t have to worry about food accidentally left out at night when he was getting something else. If you have teens and you don’t want them overeating at night (which is not healthy for them), get these for peace of mind. It can also help parents with young kids without fear of them getting into something dangerous for them.
