This is a very compact Windows 10 PC, even smaller than Apple’s Mac Mini. It packs 4 GB of ram and a 64 GB SSD. Plus, it has four USB ports, 2 video ports (HDMI and DP), headphone jack and ethernet. On board it has both wifi and bluetooth. It comes equipped with Windows 10 Home edition. Out of the box it was easy to get it up and running. There is a small wall power adapter that plugs into the back. It comes with HDMI and Display Port cables, a mounting bracket and brief documentation. The PC is powerful enough for general computing tasks, and streaming video. I had no problems at all streaming 1080P online video to my TV set in the living room. In fact, this is a very good use of this computer, as an inexpensive home theatre computer due to not only it’s small size, but very quiet operation. Add a wireless keyboard with a trackpad, and it will work well enough for this. It has been on for a couple of days now with no problems at all, and it only gets moderately warm. The only criticism I have with the computer is the scant amount of storage on board. Space is tight on the computer, and after Windows updates itself there is even less, which is why the manufacturer recommends deleting temporary files. 128 GB would have been nicer, but of course would have then raised the price. Still, it is easy enough to expand the storage via the USB ports. Other than that, this is an interesting, inexpensive and well-designed computer that could be used in a variety of situations - lightweight computer for desktop tasks like writing papers, checking email and surfing the web, as a server of some sort, or as mentioned before, as an inexpensive HTPC.
This little computer is very small considering what it packs in... It's sort of like a Raspberry Pi, but with less of the DIY angle. It comes embedded in a box, and you can't attach a breadboard straight to it, but otherwise they are similar. Lots of ports including 3 USB 3 ports, and 2 monitor ports built in! This computer has the processing power you need to run a home VPN, or a file share (using an external drive), or a gaming PC for old games (think retro-pi operating system), or a home movie box (store all your discs on a hard drive attached, or over the network, and use VLC or XBMC to watch them on your projector). Add a wireless keyboard and mouse (be sure to get ones that are encrypted) and you're all set for movie night! Overall, I love this computer at this price point. There are plenty of others out there that sound similar, and I haven't tried them all, but I can tell you that this one stands up to the test.
Perfect as my at-mount NUC for astrophotography, whether at home or in the field paired with a mobile router. Setup was easy, able to remote in from either my laptop or tablet without needing a dedicated display. Handles my planetarium, acquisition, and guiding software easily. Runs off 12v DC from my AGM battery. Exactly what I needed.
Boots extremely quickly, can stream video from online sources and it does not skip/buffer. Mainly needed to copy items as a backup and it sure did that, copied over 1Tb from a network drive in a little over 2hrs to a USB backup drive. Runs quietly and is easily hidden with its small form factor size.
The Mini PC Beelink T4 comes with 4 USB ports, HDMI, Ethernet port, and an audio jack. It booted into Windows 10 home and the setup was pretty easy and flawless. After installing some essential software such as my Norton antivirus and Google chrome, I still have about 30 GB left for other applications. This is a nice tiny PC with the Atom processor running Windows 10 64 bit Home . I ran the PC Mark benchmark on it and received a 1204 score which is on the average among other Mini PC with similar configurations. We can find a a lot good use with the Mini PC as an entertainment center and streaming video online with Youtube, Netflix, Hulu and Kodi (need to install from the Microsoft App Store). The mini PC's video streaming is very smooth with nice resolution. I also use Android TV boxes for such but the Mini PC can do a lot more with a variety of Apps available. This mini PC is also great for presentation on the go with its small and portable size.
I bought this product for the hardware, not the OS. I've replaced Windows 10 with Ubuntu Studio OS 20.04 LTS and I'm happy to report that HDMI, bluetooth, and Wi-Fi works. I really like the form factor with the power button, headset jack and 2 USB 3.0 ports up front. If you're looking to get into linux or are already an enthusiast this is a beautiful device that works well enough for 140 USD. I also like the rear usb port. It allows me to keep my Logitech K830 dongle out of sight.
Bought the T4 as a "Netflix Box" just for streaming services to free up a laptop for other duties. Beelink splash screen is very striking. Bold and simple. Graphic designer should get a raise :) The T4 is perfect for what I use it for. Solid wifi signal on 2.4 and 5.0. Far better BT audio quality than the Toshiba laptop. I don't plan to use it as a general purpose computer, but it would be very well suited for any Windows app not requiring excessive memory or storage space. I'll definitely be looking at Beelink's higher end products for my next desktop.
It may look like a cute lil thing from the land of make believe computers, but it's working like one of the big boys. User interface is sluggish compared to a fast Windows PC, but it's not a significant issue. About like a cheap Windows laptop. It came with a HDMI cable long enough to mount the case directly on the back of a giant TV. Wireless keyboard and mouse (bluetooth or dongle connection) are all you need to turn your TV into a fully functional Windows 10 PC. Must have a wired or dongle style keyboard and mouse available to set it up, when first powered. The dongle will need to already be paired with the keyboard and mouse. Can't be bluetooth during set up because they're not yet paired. This little PC boots much faster than I expected because it's not full of the junk that pollutes mainstream PCs. It took about an hour to download and install all the common software I use, like Google Chrome. Another couple hours to get it set up the way I like (I'm picky and do a lot of registry changes to get Windows to behave.) Used the WIFI for a while and it did very well. Didn't notice a difference when plugged into ethernet. I've been using it for 24 hours. Connected to a WD 4T My Cloud drive, it's already downloaded a few hundred videos. No worries about this computer being corrupted by malware, worst case I can just reset it and start over without losing anything.
Works like a charm. I use it to run all my entertainment at my house. I hooked a logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo to it, and added an 8TB external drive, & I have absolutely zero complaints with this little pc. I will probably buy another one in the near future....great product @ a great price.
I didn't expect this to be a powerful device, and it's not, but this isn't advertised as that either. What you're getting here is a very modest PC spec-wise, but in a small form factor. It is very quiet. Mine is mounted behind my TV using the included VESA adapter plate, and I can't hear it at all from the couch. It comes with two the VESA mount plate, a packet of small screws for the plate, a power supply, and two HDMI cables. One very short under a foot long, and one that's about three feet long (I can't find my tape measure to confirm.) You only need one or the other but it's nice to have options. I connected a USB keyboard and mouse I already had, and the initial setup took about fifteen minutes. It reported that 17 GB of drive space was used by Windows, leaving about 39 GB free. Windows reports that the drive is 57.6 GB in total size - that's to be expected. The spec says 64 GB, but in the real world, that's 57.6 GB in the as reported by the OS due to the different ways that manufacturers calculate capacity v the way operating systems do. I updated to the latest version of the Edge browser and Windows Update started. My internet is slow, so a few hours passed. Then, because Windows just has to be the way it is, the update repeatedly failed. That's not the fault of this PC, it's an all-too-common problem with the Windows Update process. After many tries, a day later I finally got windows fully updated and I removed all of the temporary files to find I now have 17.5 GB used of the disk space, so all in all the updates didn't eat up all of my drive space. There were several times that I thought I was going to run out of disk space but I was able to take care of it through disk cleanup. I installed some specialty graphics software that I use. This software makes my 2016-era Windows laptop sluggish, and even though the software doesn't run as smooth as butter on this mini PC, it's still better. That's not really what this device was designed to handle though. I've been able to use Netflix with no trouble. Considering the form factor, media is probably the real aim of this PC. With the right couch-capable wireless keyboard and mouse or trackpad combo, this device would work great. I've had it running for over a day now, mostly doing Windows updates, and I've never heard it, and it's never felt especially warm to the touch - though I haven't monitored it that closely. I think it will make a good media PC and work for light-duty purposes. Overall, I'm happy with this little PC. It's not a powerful PC, but it is quite capable for the price.
