The Box comes with three packages. In each package you get 2 Sheetz. So you get thick sheet total. These last up to 8 hours and are a perfect size for kids. I feel like these could also be used for a an extremely hot day after being somewhere and putting on your kid like in the car to quickly cool down. They pull off nicely where they're not pulling off hair. The specific ones i night have mickey mouse on the front of them which is so child friendly!
6 total soft gel sheets, they come in packs of 2 inside the main package. After you pull open the package all you have to do is remove the film on the back of the gel pack and place it right across your child's forehead. You're easily able to save the additional gel pack by just making sure that the package is folded in tightly and doubled over so that it remains fresh. These are great if your child has a fever or struggling with a headache, they can also be used by placing one of these behind the child's neck or ear. Lasts for up to 8 hours and if you're looking to have them extra cold place them in the refrigerator for just a little bit to make the coldness last even longer.
If you have young kids, get it. Don't hesitate. When my children have a fever, we usually get a wet washcloth and keep applying to help break their fever. This pretty much takes the place of that. It's advertised as staying cool for up to 8 hours, but it will stay cool for much longer. My strip was going on 30 hours and it was still cool. They come two strips to a pack and are basically activated once you remove the paper from the gel. I also used this on my son after football practice to cool him down. He said it helped him. It continued to stick even with the sweat on his forehead.
My bekool soft gel sheets is a life saver. I have 3 kids in elementary school and got called to pick them up Monday because of a fever and sore throat. I brought the gel sheets with me and applied it to their forehead and armpits when I picked them up. They had the beKool soft get sheets on for about 4 hours and the fever was gone. It was very easy to apply and the kids had no discomfort at all when it was time to take them off. It is a great product to have on hand for the little ones. I will be getting more since I had to use some of mines. I have the mickey mouse design so it looked adorable on them. The gel sheets smell just like Vicks vapor rub, so it's very tolerable.I recommend the BeKool soft gel sheets for anyone.
I keep at least one packet in the refrigerator and got to use the BeKoool brand for the first time with my nephew who came to visit. His head is a bit smaller so we were able to cut it to fit his forehead. The gel sheet stayed on him as he was playing for over 5 hours. Definitely helped bring his fever down by 1-2 degrees.
These work great! Perfect for cooling down a fever. My son recently was running a fever and I wanted to try these so, I did and I really feel that they cooled him down. These are soft and cool to the touch. These bekoool sheets really make a little kid comfortable. These are really great as they are not medicated as well. These are like mini freezer packs thin with blue gel . No odor either. My mom is going through menopause and she likes these as well!
I have used this product on several occasions, with the most recent occasion on myself, an adult! While it is targeted for children, this product is fabulous for adults as well in that I do not have to worry about getting a cool rag and then trying to balance it on my forehead when I'm not feeling well. Besides, cool wash rags never stay cold, and they invariably fall off my forehead when I try to roll over. My kids love them. They feature Mickey Mouse designs on the front. The front is a soft, fuzzy-like texture. The back of the strip is the blue gel part that helps cool you down. It has a clear back panel that you peel off to expose the sticky part that goes on your forehead. It stays on very well and lasts up to eight hours (better than any regular wash rag)! Just be sure to keep your hair out of the way so it stays on well. Be Koool strips are non-medicated. They're simply a much better version of a cold rag you would apply to your head. Stays cool and stays put. You do not need to refrigerate them. They come in an easy-tear pouch with two strips in each pouch. Simply pull one out and fold the pouch down to preserve the other. Additionally, the box says you can also apply the strips on the back of the neck as needed. Considering this product works well on both children AND adults, stays put and stays cool, I give this five stars.
My baby got a random infection cause her to have a high fever started looking for cooling pad and deceased to give there a try and it helped being down her fever almost immediately. I would definitely recommend!
I was skeptical to try at first but me and my kids have a virus with high fevers and I was desperate to try anything my kids did not like the way that it felt or smelt at first so I took them off and place them on myself and It almost made me feel better immediately they do not feel as cold as I thought or would like but they definitely seem to keep the fever down some so i tried putting them back on my kids after they fell asleep and its keeping them down a degree or 2 😊👍(i had to cut them in half to make them fit better also)
You can read how many are in there/size/etc for yourself with the product description. Having actually used the product while fevered, let me give the pros, cons, and a few tips! PROS - Great to sleep with on, or if using on a kid who isn't going to want to stay still. - Doesn't pull out hair when removing from skin. - Cute Disney design on it. - Is quite cool to the touch when it goes on, can be a massive relief. CONS - It doesn't necessarily stick firmly to the skin. While this ties into the pro of not pulling out any facial hair, it means the edges of it often lift up, especially the longer you wear it. - It works until it dries out, as in the gel itself dries out. That means it becomes less stuck to you after those several hours pass. That would be fine, but the dried out edges become stiff and pokey, a little itchy. Kids are likely to pull it off before this point, but if they reach that point it's likely to get ripped off super fast. (And how long that point takes to reach is going to partially depend on humidity levels, but during low humidity winter it was around 4 hours when it first got irritating enough to notice.) I do NOT recommend trying to re-wet this, because it wouldn't work. - If the fever is 100/101 F or higher, as mine was, the patch can become entirely hot. It was (simply) overwhelmed by the heat and couldn't handle it. I pulled out an eye ice pack (they make them, similar to face masks to sleep with) and used it at that point and went with the BeKoool again once I was down in the 99 range. It handled it great in the 99 range. That one degree seemed to make all the difference. TIPS - Do NOT just fold over the packet, grab a ziplock bag to put the spare one in. Folding the top over, as some suggested, allows the second patch to start to dry out. The ziplock (as BeKoool suggests!) doesn't and keeps the moisture in so you're not wasting 1/4-1/2 of the patch's wear life. - These can be cut in half, nothing gooshes out or anything. Consider cutting one in half, doing it 1/2 on each cheek, and supplementing a cool cloth or ice pack with these if you're above 99 F. Really, these are a great supplement to fighting a fever or could be used for a headache or hot flash, but you're better not expecting them to be the be-all-end-all.
