I have a MacBook that only has c port usb so this little device has become my best friend! I can easily plug it into 1 of the 2 ports and have access to multiple extra ports! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a handy 4 port multi-devices charging unit. However, you can only charge devices with a USB-C port and cord end. In the pictures, I am using it to charge my phone via my laptop. Note the phone is not shown as I used it to take the pictures. Every morning I have to charge my phone. The closest plug to charge from is in our kitchen. Invariably, I will be working with my laptop in the living room when I will receive a call or here a notification alert. So, I have to get up, go to the kitchen and retrieve the phone. Now, with this multi-port unit, I can charge my phone right from my laptop. This saves me many steps and interruptions to my work. For that convenience alone, I am very pleased with this unit. As of this writing, I have not used it to transfer any data.

I'm a little concerned if you want to charge a computer monitor since that is so big, It might not have enough power for big for big capacity items like monitors etc but for my speakers and things like that , it works well. It's so simple to use and very convenient as it's easily stored and easily carried around.

I connected it to an external backup hard drive and it transferred my data quickly. This will allow me to connect more than one USB-C device to my laptop at a time. The laptop recognized the Hub immediately upon plug in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so nice and works great to be able to only use 1 charging block. I had to order some more short cords that are usb-c on both ends, but this will be nice to have less cords and still only using 1 outlet! I also like how compact this is.

If use one of the hub's ports with a charger for my laptop, the computer being charged yammers about the voltage -- but in the end, it does get charged. OTOH, as far as I can tell, this is the current state of the art, and the little gizmo is very nicely made.

It does also features, such as a wireless mouse to be plugged into a port of a laptop. I think this is a good item to have when you need to attach several different usc-c styles pieces but would not usually have the space for them. This product is portable since it is small and lightweight. However, the wire does not retract or wrap so it just kind of sticks out.
