As an iPhone 7 Plus owner there is probably not a more practical gadget to own. The fact that I thought there would never be a gadget that would let me listen to music while charging my phone was truly devastating. However, upon hearing about this product, I felt the complete need to try it out - and I can say it was worth it! As someone who's on her phone a lot, I constantly have to charge my phone. As someone who enjoys Netflix and music - I constantly have to be on my phone! This device is connected to where the charger would go on an iPhone and allows for two other contraptions to be connected to it. I am now able to watch Netflix or listen to music from earphones WHILE CHARGING MY PHONE! The connected contraptions must have the same cord as the typical iPhone charger. Connecting cables to this gadget in no way reduces the quality. The sound quality is the same and the phone charges JUST as fast as it would if it were connected directly to a charger. There's no "interference" or "cutting off" when it comes to charging OR audio. Only thing I would change in this contraption is that I would make the cord a bit smaller. I feel as if the cord is too long and it looks a little silly sometimes. Also, I would offer it in black as well! Other than that, great product and would truly recommend to anyone. Belkin lighning Audio + charger rockstar Works as described, listen/talk on my iphone 7 plus while it charges. Belkin products have worked for me well in the past. So far working well and reliable. If i can suggest, i would love belkin to eliminate the short cable and just have the lightning connection attach to the edge, it will be sorta like a flash memory, it will be sleek and user friendly to carry every where. I have bought three of these adapters and only two have worked from the beginning, the third one has not worked since I received it. Now one of the two that work need electrical tape to keep it working. Don’t get me wrong I do love this product.
I love that I can talk and charge my phone at the same time. You do have to place the charger and the headphone ports in certain ports to get it to work sometimes, but it does what is needed.
I have been using this for about 6 months, I was working great! Until it started fraying just like all other Apple charging cables. Partially because of the cord design, and the clunky design of the product. I have moved my dash phone holder multiple times to make the cord hang straight, but it still frayed and either the power, or the audio connection works, but not both at that same time. Please consider using different materials in this design, because carrying the apple standard will guarantee fraying.
I bought the product 6 months ago. It worked well in the beginning, but unfortunately then it started falling apart in less than 6 months and now it has started malfunctioning as well. The idea is good, quality is not.
