It has been great to have 2 HDMI ports and I am able to run both of my 4k monitors simultaneously with out any issue. This dock was very easy to set up, and works as expected. The dock itself is a good size and doesn't take up much space. I am happy with the speed and quality.

Having this accessibility allows me to save my files efficiently using the USB ports. This is super important to be able to save my work without having to save it only on the laptop. At school he had multiple monitors set up and things are as simple as they can be in this day and age. He's been wanting the same set up at home, but we were unsure how to go about it with the laptop he has. The Belkin International Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini HD allows him to have a similar set up at home. It makes multitasking so much easier which allows him to spend less time grading and creating lesson plans, and spend more time with the family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does what it supposed to. I like the color and the casing feels metallic. It has 4 rubber feet. Depending on how you're using it, the USBC cable may be too short. Compared to others I have, this one is on the large size... Maybe because of the LAN connection?
For the folks who have issues driving two monitors with this dock, the issue is likely in the Thunderbolt host controller on your laptop supports an older DisplayPort standard (1.2), which isn't really a fault of this dock. In my experience, the dock works very well with my 2019 15" MacBook Pro. I can drive my 4k and 1080p monitors at the same time, along with ethernet and both USB ports reliably. On the same laptop under Windows (with BootCamp) the story is different -- both monitors work reliably, but to get the USB ports to work, I have to unplug and replug the dock multiple times until it eventually works. Otherwise Windows gives a notification saying one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, without much additional info. For what it's worth, it also works well on my Thinkpad P1 Gen2, also running Windows, so I'm not sure where the Macbook issue really lies.
It works as advertised - no setup, plug in and get started. i use it for two 4k monitors to extend my laptop, also have a USB Webcam and Jabra speaker. It works great, but off late, it has started to get very warm, the monitors start to get wobbly and needs an unplug and plug back to make it work.
Bought 3 units from CDW to connect Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro 7+ devices at work. Description says compatible with windows devices but when I connect it to Surface USB-C I get a message device functionality may be limited. Can not get it to work. Now I have 3 expensive paper weights.
Bought two of the devices for my home office and my office so I could use two displays with my laptop without using DisplayLink systems or drivers. Laptop is a new ASUS Zenbook running W10 Pro with all updates current. Both offices use a Microsoft 850 wireless keyboard and mouse with USB dongle. USB2.0 and USB3.0 DO NOT work with keyboard/mouse or any other USB peripheral such as a standard flash drive. Does not work even if using a powered USB hub between the peripheral and dock. Technical support is what you would expect from a offshore call center. The problem can easily be found in the forum. I continue to use the docks because they do allow the two external monitors to work as needed - without DisplayLink. Even here, I have daily, sometimes twice or three times a day where the two external screens go dark for a couple of seconds then come back where they left off -- like the dock rebooted. Also, ever other day or so, I find that one displays starts jumping around to the point of being unusable and I have to unplug the dock and then plug back in to reset.
Bought this for 1 purpose only, to get dual screens when working from my company laptop. Should have read here before that it does not work as intended. Because it is simply not working. Only 1 screen works, the other one goes into power save mode. So if a product does not work for the 1 purpose I bought it for it gets 1 star. Didn't check with the network or USB yet as I have no use for them.
Perhaps this 3rd review will make it through the Belkin censors. I doubt it. Don't waste your time and money considering this product. JUNK! Failed shortly after purchase. 3+ months and still waiting for a replacement.
