THIS IS A MUST HAVE! got it for my bf as a gift, his cell keeps dying on him since he got a car-cam 'cause he has to have that plugged in all the time... NOW, he plugs the power station in, and the camera and his cell into that! (having an extra usb for my phone too!) The station has a light indicator for when it's plugged in, which is useful, and there's a place to hold a cell (our nokia's 920 and 925 fit in perfectly) that was the perfect solution for using the phones as navigators (we just never found a cell holder we liked for the car). i absoluuutely recommend it. Only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far it's just awesome.
It is working out good for me . charges multiple items at the dame time like it says it will. My LG G4 phone will not fit in the holder though, it is a fraction of an inch too wide for the hole. But not that big of a problem for me.
I drive for a living. I can hook up my phone,GPS, and a tablet, at the same time. Fits perfect in any cup holder.
Bought this for my husband he is a truck driver and wanted something with more outlets. I liked it because it would sit in the vehicles cup holder instead of just sticking out from the vehicles power outlet. Plus it gives you the car outlets and USB connections. My husband loves it.
Older vehicle dream come true. Very complementary design to any auto interior. Even if you have a USB port; who can't use more? I plug in my phone, GPS, MP3, passenger phone, and radar detector. I can do this because I already a smaller USB lighter adapter which I used for 2 devices. Essentially now I have 4 USB ports and 2 - 12V power outlets at my disposal without the tangled mess of wires I had before. This is really a well thought out design with the wire storage compartment as well as the phone/player/etc. compartment. I did not realize before I used the power station that it had a pleasant blue light on it as well. Anyway, think long - think wrong if you need a power center in your auto; this is it and the price is cheaper than most 2 outlet extensions with no USB at all.....
Works just as described. Allowed me to have my Garmin GPS, cell phone, and charge my mp3 player all at the same time. My Garmin uses the traffic alert therefore, it needs to be plugged in for the function to work. That one plug allow removed my ability to plug in additional devices. Worked perfectly for my long 18hr drive. I would give it a 5 star, but my Garmin plug pops out when you run into rough roads. No big deal, but couldn't give it a 5. Overall great product.
I got this for someone who has no Bluetooth in the car and wanted to plug in the Garmin as well as a camera. Both had DC 12 volt plugs, but her car only has one 12 volt receptacle. This worked out pretty well. I only gave it 4 stars as it doesn't hold in all types of 12v chargers. It popped the Garmin one out. Not sure it is because of how it's designed or what. The garmin stays plugged in to the car outlet just fine. We had to put in a little shim (toothpick) to hold in the charger so it would work in the cup. Overall tho, for the price, it solves a problem perfectly, and has 2 USB chargers for other items. Great idea.
anything you plug into one of the ports keeps popping out which means you have to continue to push the plug back in as you drive down the road. works great when you are sitting still. not real impressed with the performance of this product. I noticed other reviews mentioned the same problem.
The car I bought only had one power port. I have a dashcam that plugs into a power port and I needed two USB ports for my phone and my passenger's phone. I was looking to buy a splitter to solve the problem. I thought this would be the perfect solution... Only giving it 3 stars because there is a problem with the power ports... When I plug my dashcam into either one of them, it doesn't make a good contact. I have to twist it around to get power and if I hit a bump, it looses power...
Saw this & wanted it to manage my assorted accessories connected to my windshield devices & such. Disappointed that the power station is not flexible enough to do what I wanted. It has the outlets but some of the "cigarette" plugs will not stay in place. They vibrate out & then power off the device I'm using.
