this little computer does exactly what the label said it would do. mounting the sensor to the fork took some modification, nothing a little common sense cant fix. a very inexpensive way to figure your performance.

Ive used these for a log time works great even in heavy Portland Oregon rain you don't have to rest everything you can reset one function at a time just go to the one you want and hold the left button for 2 3 seconds that's it works great and even reads the temp accurately too got this from bi-mart cheaper

I bought mine about 2 months ago and have no complaints whatsoever. I bike daily so it gets plenty of use. Like anything you own, treat it with care and it will last a long time. If you read the instructions, installation is a snap. I would totally buy this again!

Nice basic Bike Computer

The Bike Computer is accurate and works well. As other reviews have mentioned, the manual is wrong about how to reset odometer values. Hold only the left button for 3 seconds. Both buttons will clear everything including setup values. Instructions describe a left button and a right button. It is really the left and right end of the orange bar. In attaching the magnet to the spokes, put the spoke in the small groove on the magnet.

Best bang for the buck

I purchased a Bell F20 cycle computer back in early 2008. While I have no experience with other more expensive cycle computers such as Cateye, etc. I can say that I've had absolutely no problems with this Bell computer for under $15. Installation only took 20 minutes. Luckily I didn't read the instruction manual completely or I probably would have kept resetting the computer based on the typo that says to hold both the left and right buttons on the bottom. I only read the manual as far as setting the tire size and that was that. I'm not sure if the calories and fat burned is accurate and honestly I wasn't buying this computer for those functions. I am pretty confident that the speedometer and odometers (trip odometer and total odometer) are accurate and that's the main reason why I purchased this computer. The computer itself has been used in heavy rain and the computer mount on the handlebar has been left outside many times through some serious downpours. Despite the weather, this computer still works today as good as it did the day I bought it last year. The bottomline is, if you're looking for a nice cheap basic and accurate computer to see how fast and how far you're going on your bike then this is definitely a great choice.

So I bought the wireless one before and I was not please, So I took it back and picked this baby up. Easy to install, works pretty accurately, and better than a wireless one mentioned above. The only hard thing about it is in the instruction booklet I was trying to reset ODO and kept telling me to press the left and right button for 3 secs and I would do that and I would reset it, so after using common sense I threw the book down and just held the left button for 3 seconds and I could reset it. So I'm happy how it works cord is kind of annoying but you get a more accurate reading so I don't mind, and not too expensive.

Nice product but error in the instruction booklet.

Let me say that this is a LOT of cyclometer for the money, and stylish too! It was very easy to install, and the setup instructions were good, except for one error. When you get to page 6, it instructs you to press and hold both left AND right buttons to reset the "TRIP METER" (DST), when you should ONLY be pressing and holding the LEFT button. Doing as they tell you to, will erase all your settings, and cause you to have to go through the entire process of entering all the values (tire diameter, age, weight, km or mi, etc.) again. It happened to me twice! Other than that one mistake in the instructions, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Instruction booklet - NOT!

It's obvious that the people who wrote and approved the instructions have never actually seen an F20, much less used one. That's myopic and inexcusable. If you can get past the instructions, and learn on your own by trial and error, then eventually you should be able to memorize them. If and when you do, the unit works fabulously. Meanwhile, be prepared to be frustrated. You WILL spend at least an hour reading, installing, and practicing before you get it right. Maybe two hours. By the way, the "metal part" of the sensor has no observable metal. And the "magnet" is on the top of the knob that fastens the sending unit to the spoke. Neither are identified in the instructions. Be sure to read all the other reviews and questions before attempting this on your own.

This computer is fine. It is easy to install and seems to be accurate. It is hard to read in the dark and I have not been impressed with the ease of toggling between the functions. The manual is less than clear and it is easy to accidently reset the whole thing. I'd spend a little more money for a better model, if I could do it again.
