Best Naturals, Inositol. The powder was fine, and mixed easily. I dissolved it in water. I had used another brand of this supplement, and this one dissolved so much better. And it wasn't bitter. It had a slightly sweet or natural flavor. I mix it in with a protein shake. It's part of a b-complex. I like that there are no other ingredients. I think this is important, there's no filler. There's nothing extra that we don't need. I am trying to be healthy and live a long life, well I already have lived one but I want to be around even longer for my great grandbabies. Taking well made supplements is part of that. While I usually mix it with protein shake, I did try it just in water. It did add a flavor, but it wasn't bad. I still drank it straight down.

I had researched the uses of inositol and discovered that it is supposed to help with anxiety and insomnia, both of which I deal with on a regular basis. I began taking it with my evening meal, and have been able to get a refreshing, deep sleep during the night. Unlike sleeping pills or other sleep aids, it doesn't make you groggy the next day either. The powder dissolves very well in any liquid, and it has a slightly sweet taste so you won't notice it if you put it into coffee, a soft drink or my favorite, lemonade. Start with the recommended dosage of 1/4 tsp., just to be sure that you don't experience any adverse effects (the most commonly reported one is stomach upset.) This product seems to be of very high quality and at least in my case, delivers the benefits that the research states.
When I first received my Best Naturals Inositol Pure Powder 1 lb, I really didn't know too much about it, so I did some research: Inositol is a non-essential member of the B-Complex family with dietary sources from both animal and plant foods. It is readily absorbed and used to produce the active inositides as necessary. The various forms of inositol (phosphatidylinositol and inositides such as ip3) are active in cell-to-cell communication; (e.g.; transmission of nerve impulses). Tissues that are affected include the brain; liver and muscles. Inositol is an indirect source of glucuronic acid; which is essential to liver detoxification. I can say personally, I feel better and more alert since I started taking this. I have recommended this to my friends and family and plan to purchase more going forward!
When I first requested to review Inositol from the Sparks team, I wasn't quite sure what it was except from the description provided from them which is the same as what the manufacturer has on the bottle. I like all of the "support" issues that it claims to help, especially the cholesterol level and also the healthy hair. I was not blessed with a thick, luxurious head of hair and I seem to lose a lot of strands each day, surprised I'm not bald yet, and if Inositol will help with that, then wonderful. I also do have elevated cholesterol levels and if Inositol will help lower the bad and raise the good, then I will be thrilled. The dosage is minimal, 1/4 tsp one to three times a day. I have 1/4 tsp in my morning coffee and have 1/4 tsp at night in some decaf tea. I have not taken it for very long yet to have any noticeable improvement but also have not experienced any negative side effects. Everyone is different though so you'd have to try it for yourself. I do like that there is no added colors, flavors and preservatives or any of the allergens that I have heard of in this product. I also like that it is made in the USA. Very easy to take so I'd recommend trying it to see if it works well for you.

It has no preservatives, sugar, gluten, yeast or lactose. Perfect for me because I am lactose intolerant. This product is made right here in the U.S. in New Jersey. The recommended serving size is 1/4 teaspoon and can be consumed one to three times per day. Inositol in pure form no added ingredients. It can support liver function, membrane function, hair, mood and healthy cholesterol. I have enjoyed using this product and recommend it. It comes in a 1lb. canister, easy to open and close and easily identified by its attractive and well marked label. I store it in a cool, dry cabinet and this one pound size provides up to 534 servings. Each serving provides 850 mg of Insolitol. I am glad I had the opportunity to add it to my well being supplements.

The two things that stood out on this product, that got my attention was the supports Healthy Cholesterol level and supports Healthy Hair Nail and Skin. My cholesterol has been slightly elevated. My poor nails only grow when I have fake ones on. Inositol is a non-essential member of the B-Complex family with dietary sources from both animal and plant foods. I highly recommend you speak with your doctor prior to taking this product. My cholesterol levels have not been checked yet so I can't recommend 100% for that but as far as hair and nails, I think this product works just fine. I am not too sure how I feel about the taste. It is like a funny sweet taste but it is bearable.
Not sure how this Inositol does it but since a week after starting to use it my energy level has come up noticeably. No side effects or adverse reactions so I'm happy with it. Looks like this 1 lb. can will last another couple of months. 1/4 teaspoon two times a day goes a long way at 850 mg per serving.
I have been using this powder for a few days. I take B-Complex daily and this is suppose to be of the B complex group. It claims to support Liver Function, Membrane Function, healthy hair, enhance mood and healthy cholesterol levels. As a reviewer of this product, I cannot verify or deny these claims. I have had no ill side effects taking the powder.
