Come with edible cake sprinkles and kids love the taste. Easy to do,just set Popper in cake and add edible sprinkles lite wick and watch the fun began. Party Popper can be placed on a lager sheet cake with enough spread of sprinkles. Usually take 8 to 10 seconds to pop.The Party Popper is well made and works great.
It is really rare when an ordered item turns out to be better than expected. Even rarer still when one far surpasses anything you dreamed of. This is one of those items. I didn't expect much from a quirky cake topper that promises to decorate a cake for you. The tiny amount of cake confetti did not make me feel any better. In my head I was already trying to put the words together to describe my disappointment. I was concerned enough that I moved my test run out to the porch in case something went horribly wrong. Not only did nothing bad happen but it worked perfectly. You can see from the pics I posted that the candle is still rather small. Not knowing what to expect, I chose to mount it on a paper plate. That way, I could easily see how the confetti was dispersed. I lit the wick (more like an old fashioned fuse). It burnt quickly and perfectly launched the confetti in about an 18 inch diameter circle. The spread was larger than my small 10 in paper plate, but that plate still caught the majority of the confetti. The only minor negative is that there is precious little time between lighting the fuse and the launch of the confetti (plus, there is no way to stop the reaction once it starts). So, don't hesitate, pick up some of these to liven up your next birthday cake presentation.
I thought this was quite fun!! When I first opened it, it was had and the confetti pack had fallen on the floor and couldn't find it till I stepped on it. So be careful when opening the package not to loose the confetti bag. You only use half of it on each. Make sure you have it perfectly upright. I thought I had it that way but only put confetti on half of the cake. It took a few seconds after lighting to pop but it was a real fun thing. I do recommend this for anyone's cake for any occasion. The gold and silver would be great for an anniversary or even a class reunion cake. I think you would love it!
So a few pre requisites before you use this right? Preferably white icing plain top cake and stick this party popper in. This is filled with edible sprinkles. You light up the thing and then watch it pop and spray sprinkles. Should be fun. Definitely a smaller occassion and for someone that likes or doesn't mind sprinkles like lil kids. The part in the bottom is plastic and you stick that into the cake. Fun fun fun for kids
I used the Best Party Ever - Party Popper Cake Topper Silver Gold, 2pk on a Mother's Day cake for my 70 year mother. She really enjoyed it, I did not tell her what would happen, just let her be surprised! The candle is simple to use, fill tube with desired amount of confetti, I used a little under half since it was a round cake I was not sure how much, and was just about perfect! After lighting the wick, keep your eye on the candle, it only took a few seconds to 'pop' and shoot the confetti straight up. The confetti actually went higher than I anticipated, 12+ inches before falling onto the cake. The confetti is a pretty standard sprinkle type taste and did end up covering the cake. Best Party Ever - Party Popper Cake Topper Silver Gold, 2pk was enjoyed by all ages, child through senior!
I've been trying to figure out a way to keep people from blowing out candles on the cake. I figured there had to be a solution and these party poppers help. The popper sits on top of the cake, the edible glitter is loaded in and the fuse is lit. It's a gentle poof when The fuse burns down and the glitter gently lands on the cake. I was glad it was just enough power to let the glitter land on the cake and not the table or gursts. It does burn and shoot out the glitter very quickly so if you're doing this on a birthday cake, sing first before lighting. I would love it if was a little longer fuse to help build up the suspense. The good sparkle might do better in a more colorful icing. I used plain white. I tried to video the results but it was pretty quick. It added good drama and sparkle to my cake top.
These party popper candles are a lot of fun and great to have for any celebration. Editable confetti is a plus!! I love to use these for extra special birthdays when you’re turning 30 or 50. Make someone’s day special with these!! Sure to bring a smile on someone’s face!!
We got this for my sons tenth birthday. It was amazing and not loud at all. Didnt make a huge mess and was very neat. Doesnt taste great alone but when ate with the cake you cant taste it as the pieces are very small. Very easy to use. Open it up put it on the cake no need to mash the inside piece down which i debated on doing since it looked like it needed it done. Glad i didnt. Fill it with the edible glitter and light it when your ready. You wont regret it. We will get another one for his next party.
Everyone loved it when they saw it threw confetti up in the air. This was very unique, and we enjoyed it on a great homemade cake I made for my mom and sister's birthday cakes this year!!!
But it does go all over the cake. I only used one candle on a small cake. It does do as advertised but the confetti is so small, it is difficult to see. The confetti is edible so it's not bad and pretty cute for a kid's party. My kid turned 50 lol, so it wasn't quite the fun it might have been if he were 4. It is a cute process--the lighting looks like a sparkler going off, I did have people say they saw the confetti fly out. Cute idea tho! I took a video but it's too large to upload, so I took a still of the cake with confetti part after it exploded.
