[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pleased with the BestAir hygrometer. I wanted to monitor the humidity in my safe, and it serves that purpose well. I placed the hygrometer in different areas of our house to compare its humidity readings with our house's actual humidity level, and it works accurately! I'm very satisfied with this product—it's easy to read and provides accurate readings.
Love that this is not electronic and that, at a glance, you can easily see the humidity level and temperature. Using in an RV 5th wheel so I wanted something light in weight and easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew immediately that I wanted this to go into our lizard's cage because correct, consistent humidity levels are important for his habitat. So while it's probably not intended for that purpose, it does a great job of serving that purpose. It's small enough to fit in there easily, but large enough where I can easily read it

It has been such a cool experience, watching the humidity levels in my house increase and decrease. right now I am not using a humidifier nor a dehumidifier, but we do have my furnace running to heat the home and we have noticed that if we set the furnace to a temperature, which one may consider too high it makes the air dry and causes nose bleeds. With this device, I am able to determine at what temperature I need to start running a humidifier in order to balance the humidity in my house.

If it falls below 30% you know it's way too dry in your house and better get the humidifier pumping. I never have that problem because I live on a river. My concern is when it rises above 60% because that's when you have to worry about mold, water bugs such as cockroaches and other pests that are drawn to moisture. These are my main concerns so having this little gadget has really came in handy! Definitely recommend if you live in the dessert or on a waterfront definitely needed gadget!
It is larger than I thought, but that's ok, the relative humidity gage is very good. The temperature gage seems accurate, but it's not numbered in a normal way, so it's hard to determine the exact temperature. I like that it can be calibrated, but I haven't tried to calibrate it yet.

This works and is great for the price. It has the temperature and humidity gage. but.. its extremely hard to read because the numbers are soo small, so alt least it has color codes you can read. For the price its ok, and does work. I would probably spend the few extra bucks to buy a better one honestly.
