I ordered 2 sets of these BHG wrinkle-free pillowcases in the tan color. When I first took them out of the package, I was unsure how comfortable they would be. I think the shiny-ness threw me off, though they are 100% cotton. After washing, the pillowcases seemed softer and lost a bit of the shiny factor, which I liked. They weren't completely wrinkle-free, but much less wrinkled than typical pillow cases. They are comfortable to sleep on, and when the time comes, I will buy more to replace my current sets. Recommend!
The fabric used for these pillow cases is smooth and beautiful in color and texture. However, it is necessary for the ad to specify that a package consists of two pillow cases. I bought two sets instead of the one set that I needed, but I'm keeping them both because of their great quality.
my only complaint is that it didn't specify that there were two pillow cases or a "set" so I ordered two but can always use a spare set :) other wise I am happy
I ordered 4 sets of these when on sale for $6 a set, very good price for the quality. All the colors I ordered, green, blue, ivory, etc look exactly as the images. They are rather wrinkled right out of the package but after washing/drying they're not. As others have stated, they do have a slight sheen but it is very slight. They're comfortable and also look nice. I feel I got a bargain!
When I purchased the matching BH&G sheet sets, I also bought these extra pillowcases to use on my extra pillows. I love how smooth & soft they feel (right out of the bag). My small dog got sick on one of them just 2 nights after I started using them. I soaked and hand washed the dried stain out as soon as I saw it the next day. The stain was gone with some soaking & rubbing with hand soap (my washer & dryer was not yet moved to our new home). I'm very happy with this purchase.
These pillow cases are very nice. They are soft and I got 2 sets expecting that it was for one in each pack (should have read the description better). I received a total of 4 pillow cases and it was worth the money.
I purchased the "sky blue" color and it was actually a slate blue. Not even close to sky blue, so I returned them. But, if that works for someone else, it may be a good choice.
The good: cheap The bad: not wrinkle free, larger than a king pillow on the sides where you put the pillow in but smaller on the other direction, so the fit is weird It shrinks when you wash it Not soft
It reads sheet set pictures the set and I received just pillowcases these are going back for sure
I bought the purple pillowcases to use only to cover extra pillows on my bed that I don't use to sleep on. After 1 washing, I notices short threads popping out on the pillow case. After the 2nd washing, I found the hems on both were raveled at the seams. They were washed with regular bedding, nothing sharp. It was one of the rare instances that I used cash to pay for my purchase. Since I have pillowcases purchased elsewhere that have held up since the 1990's, I didn't keep my receipt. I was going to return them just so the store could see how bad they were but decided it's not worth my time and effort. They'd just throw them in a pile & trash them. If you do purchase these, use a credit card, keep your receipt & be prepared to return them.
