I could not be more pleased with this purchase. This dinnerware looks expensive. What a great value for the money.
Nice sturdy, heavy dishes in a beautiful purple. I wish they made the serving dishes and accessories for this set like they do for the Gold and Orange/maroon set of dishes.
I love these dishes so much I ordered a svingd set of them so I can use them for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know why they are called "red" currant becuase they are very purple. I like purple though so it's just what I wanted.
I was sent an email about these, but when I went to purchase they were sold out. So I kept checking. Purple is my favorite color, so I had to have this set. It will be our Thanksgiving dinner plates. I am so looking forward to using them. These will be our special dishes.
great item and should get more for the price being offered
I first saw these in Better Homes and Gardens magazine and immediately fell in love with them. I bought 2 sets and should have bought three since they are so affordable. The main color is fabulous and the leaves are beautiful. I have not used them yet, purchased for our Thanksgiving dinner as I wanted to update to something with color as my china is white. However, will use them for dinner in the fall if I have guests.
I love everything about these dishes. I initially saw them in the store, but they didn't have enough for a complete set. I was thrilled to find out I could order them online. They are perfect for everday fall dishes.
These looked great on the picture, but they have some real problems. The salad plates are too small and the design stops short of the edges, leaving a white strip The plates, after going through the dishwasher twice, have chips out of them and are not nearly so shiny. Very disappointing for Better Homes and Gardens!!!!!!
