This small light is shines very bright. The install is easy and all parts are included. Just make sure it's set in an area with direct sunlight to be able to charge. Indirect light/ brightness will not charge it. The solar panel at the top is a little tricky to get off once the light is attached to the fence but you'll only need to do that to turn the switch on/off. I wish the switch was at the bottom of the frame instead but it's not a big deal once I figured out how to maneuver the snug fitting panel. The motion sensor works great and it very sensitive, no sneaking past it.
This is a terrific light. It doesn't take much sunlight to charge it up and the LED motion sensor will be active all night. I've got it installed in a place that is in the shade most of the day so I was concerned that it would die quickly. So far it's been impressing me and it's been two weeks. The metal housing is really nice. It's solid and easy to hang. The electronics portion slips out of the top so you can turn the switch on and clean the bulb. It's a nice design that puts out a decent amount of light for a small package.
We just landscaped our backyard and were in need of some additional lighting around the walking areas for the evening time. This deck light was perfect. We started with one. But, now have four more lining the walkway leading into our backyard. When you enter the gate, the motion sensor lights automatically come on and light the way. They are just the right amount of light. Not too bright. Not too dim. They illuminate a nice amount of area around them. The pictures I included show the first one we installed. It does a nice job all on its own. It was extremely simple to install. Just a few minutes, and voila. Day or night, the deck light itself looks appealing and adds a nice touch of charm. Since they are solar powered, there is no need to worry about changing batteries.
I received the Better Homes and Gardens Motion Sensor Fence Light. It is a solar powered 10 lumen LED light that illuminates to 50 lumens when motion is detected. This light has a metal housing with clear glass inserts for a very clean look. Has a very attractive design that would compliment many different styles. I had difficulty in getting the solar powered unit to separate from the metal housing as instructed in step 3 of the installation instructions. I ended up using a flat blade screw driver to reach into the unit to slide the power switch to “on”. You want to make sure it is in the “on” position for the first charge in direct sunlight for eight-twelve 8-12 hours. I liked that the mounting hardware was included even though I do not need it at the moment as I am placing this light in my outdoor open-air butterfly garden and have simply set it in the middle of the garden. Should I decide to install on a fixed post of some sort, the included mounting hardware will be much needed. I am very impressed with this light and will try to find more instock. The light is a bright white versus a warm white light.
Minimalistic design yet super beautiful and sleek. I'm a big fan of solar garden lights and this one is very practical because has a motion sensor too. Super eassy to instal, it has the necessary hardware to be hung up.
This is a neat little deck light, which I installed in my back yard on my deck. It looks stylish, very modern and it gives out just enough light when it's dark outside. I love the fact that it is motion sensored, so it comes on every time somebody passes my back yard area. I never have to replace batteries since it is solar powered.
I love this light. Motion activation is very sensitive. Lights up the area Well. I need to grab a couple more of these. My granddaughter loves running around getting the light to go off. The color is brown and it looks very Elegant.
Just got this in and haven't had the chance to mount it yet but holy brightness! Not only is it super cute and will match any decor, it is a good size.
I thought this was a light for a walkway or deck based on the description. That you would place on the floor. It's actually a light box to screw onto a fence. We were still able to make it work for our deck though. We just secured it onto the side. It's also way smaller than I expected but it does give off a good amount of light. It was super easy to install. It's nice looking too.
I love the look of this light! It goes great with the look of my front porch! However, I am unsure of why it didn't work. I attached it to the handrail of my steps and left it for about 24 hours. When I looked the next day there was no light shining through it. No instructions came with it. Perhaps it needs more time outside in the light?
