These towels are some of the softest, fullest towels I've used. Comparable to some of the extremely fancy hotels, I've had the pleasure of staying at. Had to wash them a couple of times initially to get the fuzzies off from manufacturing. I also bought the bath sheets for the Mrs. and I and love them equally as much. Only time will tell how they hold up, but as for now, I'll just enough stepping out of the shower and the feel of these super soft towels absorbing the water from my skin.
We also bought from Walmart a Intex 18x4ft easy set pool. So that meant more towels! So the old bath towels are for the pool. The new towels are great! They are very soft and very large. I bought the red and blue. Those are the colors in the bathroom. The pool is awesome. Sent a pic of the family in the pool. Wal-Mart your prices are great!
I love these towels! It's very difficult to know what to expect when you order things like towels and sheets online but these towels greatly exceeded my expectations!! The bath towel is generously sized and they are very plush and absorbent! I have only had them a few weeks so I really can't comment on how durable they are. They do, however, wash up very nicely! Mine have probably been washed about 5 times now and there is no sign of fraying or any of the loops pulling out. I have purchased towels that cost 3 times what I paid for these towels and they aren't nearly as nice! I really hope that Walmart never stops carrying them!! As for ease of set up--how hard is it to hang up towels???
Since we don't have a Walmart in our town (it's in the next town over), I'm somewhat new to shopping there. My wife gave me the task of finding some new bath sheets to replace our 8 ragged ones. I stopped at Walmart after not finding what I wanted at other stores. I grabbed a couple and headed home (yes, I paid for them). Both my wife and I were surprised at the plushness and quality! To make a long story short... I went ahead and ordered 6 more on-line and picked them up at my convenience. It certainly gave me a whole different perspective on shopping at Walmart. Let's just say that the other big box stores in the area didn't come close to matching the price and quality...
These towels are very soft and fluffy, and as I've only washed twice, I don't know for how long. The material lost in washer and dryer is overwhelming. Even on the second wash, with only two towels, the lint filled the dryer screen. Don't wash these with anything to which the lint might stick, like a bath rug, or you will have a lot of lint to remove by hand.
We just bought 6 of these towels today at our local Walmart. 3 of the "denim"/dark blue color & 3 of the "cloud"/greyish color. We didn't NEED them. Saw them on the way out & only got them cause they are on sale for $2. Thank God we didn't pay full price. We washed them before they could be used. FIRST wash & the washer was covered in lint. The towels came out splotchy like it was used to clean up bleach. NO bleach was used in the wash as they are colored towels. The blue towel came out worse as you can see in the pics. They ALL look like this. They still feel incredibly soft & fluffy so it's still not too bad considering we only paid $2 each but you definitely can't use them for company.
My husband and I bought several of these bath towels this year for our bathroom decor. We thought what a beautiful appearance in the size and way they looked. Not impressed with how after a few months of washings they ravel up on both ends. My husband tried to very carefully pull it apart where it was raveled up and it tore the towel. Also color fades quickly after so many washings. Our question is why would an expensive good quality extra large towels like these, do this for the price we paid for them! We bought 6 and 4 of them have done this! We also bought hand towels and wash clothes to match these large bath towels and none of them raveled up on their ends when washed several times. These large towels were not cheap! So why did they do this? My husband and I are very disappointed with this hidden disaster waiting to happen to what we thought were great bath towels. Cheap towels don't do this with our washing machine! Watch out consumers for these hidden problems!!! Excellent in appearance till washed several times. Than fades and ravels up.
Bought a set of these towels just a few months ago at Walmart (like the one in the picture) and they look and feel great. The colors matched my scheme and everything but with wear and tear they began to fade and I felt it was time for some new ones. Definitely worth the $8. However, upon ordering new ones today, I found that either Better Homes and Gardens has changed the style of the towels or Walmart gave me different ones. Either way, I had to return them because the light blue towel (as seen in the picture) is now more of a blue-green color, and the design trim in the middle of the towel is now wider than the previous version. It doesn't match my other towels that I bought from Walmart and would really appreciate it if I could've gotten the same towel in the picture
Bought my wife these towels for Christmas. 6 towels and 6 wash cloths for about $100. they were the butter pecan or dill can't tell which color as they now all have orange spots all over them they do dry well. so if you don't care about the color coming out go for it. We can't put these out for company to use because of the looks. Very disappointed with these towels
I bought 6 towels, rags and hand towels a few months ago. The towels are beautiful, soft and I couldn't be happier. That is until I washed and dried them a few times! The decorative band around each towel began to tighten and made this awful ruffle effect on the towels. The rags and hand towels did not do this. The color faded on 4 towels but not the other two. I purchased them all at the same time and you couldn't tell it to look at them. Two of the towels look really good, but the other four look awful. There so rough that I don't like to even use them. At $14.00 dollars a pop for the towels I totally feel like I just threw money out the window. I've since gone back to wal mart and purchased more towels by "Canopy" at a fraction of the cost and love the softness and look much better.
