was concerned at first with the shelf to the table fitting but you just have to pull each leg in to meet the shelf very comfortable and received very quickly in excellent condition
Was surprized at the ease of assembly and the good quality of the patio set. Very happy with this product.
Looks like really good quality. I bought it because of the warranty (5 years), but I guess I won't know how good they stands behind their warranty unless I need to use it. I know that if you have to pay to ship it back, the warranty probably won't do you any good because it would cost too much to ship it back. I do know that I was really pleased with the finish on the pieces. I hope they hold up as well as they look like they will. I like that the frame is aluminum so it help prevent rust.
I received the set in good condition and found it to be all that I had hoped it would be! The pieces seem to be very sturdy and the weight capacity of the chairs is probably the main reason I chose this set as well as the reduced price! We will add back pads!
As soon as the box was delivered, hubby disappeared with it. Within about 20 minutes he had the whole set put together and placed it on the patio! I immediately staged it adding a few more things I had purchased including some floral pillows for the back of each chair. Wouldn't you know Mother Nature decided within 5 minutes to test the cushions for their water shedding capabilities!! Well they passed with flying colors and we have been enjoying the set ever since. The fact that I purchased the set on sale also added to it. Its a great set and I would recommend it to anyone looking for patio furniture!
I had ordered a set similar to this from Target and it arrived damaged and they were not helpful at all. So I decided to go with Better Homes and Garden and was extremely pleased!!! I love my new patio furniture and would recommend to anyone. Very simple to assemble!
I was drawn to this because aluminum won't rust and will be easier to take to the basement for the winter. As others have said, this was the easiest furniture I've ever put together. I love the rocking aspect. The only criticism I have is the pads just collapse when you sit on them and aren't comfortable. (I weigh 110 lbs.) So I'll replace them, which is no big deal. Got this for about 40% off so it was a good deal.
I ordered this set a few weeks ago as inspiration to finish painting the front porch. I must say the items were delivered super quick. I ordered it on Sunday and it was on my (still not finished) front porch by Wednesday! Putting together the chairs was a snap (literally). It took all of 10 minutes, and most of that was because I could not believe how easy it was so I kept hesitating. The quality of the chairs is very good, although they are pretty lightweight. I think they look very elegant on my front porch. The only drawback, if you want to call it such, was that they were super well packaged and it took me some time to unwrap everything. I have not put together the table yet so I cannot comment on that. The only reason this is not getting 5 stars is that I would like to wait to see about the durability of the chars.
I just received this last week and set it up in a couple of hours by myself. I am a late forty year old woman. I think it's pretty classy and is cozy. I will get chair pads that go on the back also next year. I mainly got them for the back patio for when we put the lounge chairs away for the winter, we will want somewhere to sit. We will see how they last through winter. I do have to say that the metal doesn't seem super 'high quality', and isn't super smooth. I still like them a lot, and the fact you can rock in them and lean back is a big plus. The table is great quality. Like others have mentioned, you have to NOT tighten the screws until all the bolts are in and everything is lined up. It's king of a no-brainer. I would recommend to family and friends.
Chairs have a nice, thick cushion. The design is very pretty. They look very nice and add some class to my patio. Be prepared to spend an hour unwrapping and putting the table and chairs together. They are worth the time but this part was a little unexpected.
