I enclosed my patio because of all of the wind we have here in the Mojave Desert. In the winter I close the door and spin the chairs around to face the fireplace. I use the patio set all year round.
Well made product which was easy to assemble. Excellent set for the deck which was my intended purpose. Was little surprised how tall table was with set but once I got used to it ... it was fine. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good patio/deck set.
After two years and two other sets of outdoor chairs. I bit the bullet and purchased a higher quality, more expense set. The Better Homes and Gardens Mika Ridge 3 piece outdoor Bistro set. Everything came in one large box. Packed perfectly with no damage. Takes a while to unpack and unwrap everything. However, putting it together couldn't have been easier. Great instructions and tools are included. You need nothing. Went together ultra quick. Really was a breeze. Very high quality and after I sat in the Chairs, worth every penny. The picture shown is exactly what you get, but i never paid attention to the table in the picture. Terrific Table. Larger and taller than I thought it would be. Also very high quality and easy to put together. This set exceeds my expectations! Highly recommend!
After only a month the cushioned chairs and glass-top table are a great addition to our new deck! Delivery was superior and each piece of the set individually wrapped and packed in a large, well cushioned box. Setup easy; great color and appreciate the rubber "boots" used to cover all the exposed bolts/nuts of the set! Hope they stand up to the heat, sun and, of course, our use! (Too early to tell there.) Priced right.
I purchased this set last year and it's great quality for the price, and I used site to store to save even more money. I have a Better Homes 7 piece set that is not this exact set but this Mika set blended in well. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Better Homes outdoor furniture! I just purchased 2 Better Homes Mika Ridge lounge chairs this year to complete the set.
Very nice with large cushions. Smoked glass tabletop. Hopefully stands up to rain and sleet. Happy with the purchase. Putting together was not too bad, about 30-45 min for table and chairs. 12 bolts for the table and 4 for each chair. Delivery to home was decent even though 1-5 was 6:30 but luckily not a problem.
There was some issue with packaging, a little damage to the chair bases, but after contacting customer service for the vendor they sent two new ones out right away. Overall a very nice, lightweight aluminum set, very comfortable to sit in and very good looking.
The chairs seem well made, good quality. Cushions are very comfy and seem durable. They have tie backs to the chair which is a great feature for windy days. Everyone that has seen the chairs remarks they really like them. Not sure how they will hold for the long term but for now, good deal. And as an FYI, the table is bigger than expected and a little taller than needed considering the chair height.
Had some minor damage to the base of the chairs. when assembling the table legs ,one leg did not have holes for the bolts. So I had to drill them myself. Otherwise I like the item very much . This was an additional purchase . We previously purchased a bistro set, the patio four chair patio set w/ umbrella, and two chaise loungers for a large deck (900 sq ft.) around our pool. We like them so much that when we built an additional smaller deck we just had to have another bistro set of the same style before it gets discontinued. All are extremely comfortable and we enjoy them on a regular basis.
Cons: fabric feels like straw, the unit seems so cheap not near as nice as another one I bought for a gift that was less expensive (wish I would have bought the other for myself as well), rocks rough, under the cushion are plastic straps that seem to stretch out with each use Pros: it was easy to assemble, swivels really nice, looks nice, do not feel the lump in the back cushion as some has mentioned, the back of the chair (although shorter than it appears in the pic) is the perfect height, love the table, all is light so it is easy to move around I won't be taking it back, I do like that the chairs rock/swivel and that the table is he perfect height which is a hard combo nation to find. I may end up purchasing new cushions or making covers to use while i sit on it as the straw feel is rough on the legs.
