ive always used Betty Crocker's Lemon Suoreme cake mux ti bake my famous Coconut cake. I had been out of this produce for some time but glad i finally found it. thank you

For a bakery cake use milk instead of water, and add one egg. For frosting beat one 8oz package of cool whip for 6min add one tablespoon of sugar & food coloring, then beat for another 2min. Best tasting cake for a couple of bucks..
Betty Crocker Cake Mix does not have SUGAR as the first ingredient. Flour is first and sugar is second. Of the regular brands Betty Crocker is the only one I can find that sugar is not the FIRST ingredient. Before covid when I went to Trader Joe's they had cake mixes that were healthier. Until I can get back to Trander Joe's I will use Betty Croker for my cake mixes. I have been making dump cakes from The Cake Mix Doctor Cookbook that Walmart.com carries at a good price for new and they are quite good. If you get this book be sure and notice that this was when cake mixes were 18.25 oz. We must add 3 oz of flour to the cake mix for the cakes to turn out properly. You can also goggle this if you don't measure by weight for the cup measurement which I believe is 1/3-1/2 cup. Delicious and so easy to make. We added a simple lemon glaze (powdered sugar and lemon juice) and added that little bit of brightness, tang, and crunch that made the soft cake even better.
This was very nice, moist, fluffy lemon cake! Remember the Lemon Cooler cookies from the 80's? Use a lemon frosting and you got it! I poked holes into it and melted the frosting in microwave for 30 seconds and poured it into the holes. Now you have a wonderfully flavored lightly glazed lemon cake! You'll see the holes though...
My husband liked this very much, since I made it as a lemon blueberry layer cake, with lemon frosting on the top and sides, and blueberry pie filling as the filling, with a bit more on top too. Thanks for all the lemon blueberry suggestions, since he really likes the combination.
Local.walmart QUIT carrying these Lemon Cake Mixes in the store,so I have to order online..It took over a week to get them after some kind of hold up somewhere in shipping..Love the cake mixes.. I and a lot of other people dont understand why they quit selling them in the local stores..We need them there locally..
Haven't used a cake mix in years so maybe they were always like this. Cake was very dry and did not have a nice lemon taste. would not recommend.
This arrived in a creepy package. There were torn prices of cardboard wrapped around it. Put into another bag and then a shipping envelope. The actual product box is squished and looks old. I don't trust the product so it is being returned to Walmart.
