It's the best trust me. It has this spice taste nutmeg butter salt its just good my son loves it. It is very hard to get though. I normally purchase it for a $1.00 so it's very surprising to me to see it at over $6.00. Very surprising why would you guys change the price and its not even a year yet. Come on do better than that. Remember he pandemic has just ended and its very hard of lot of folks.
I use Betty Crocker products all the time...it is convenient to have in the pantry...especially recently with the lockdown! Even when fresh sweet potatoes are available I incorporate the use of the instant flakes...stuffed baked, makes a quick and easy presentation!
LOVE these tators! great taste and easy to make. serves up to 4 people so great for seniors or singles just starting out. would recommend using evaporated can milk, makes the tators more creamy. also great item for teaching teenagers basics of cooking.
I like sweet potatoes and decided to give this a try. Easy to fix. Nice side dish to a meal. Good to have on hand.

The banner title on the package says (as you can see) "Sweet Potato". NO IT ISN'T. The main ingredient is RUSSET (white) potato (flakes), as the listing of ingredients on the back tells you (most plentiful component must be listed first). THEN the front of the package says, "Made with 100% REAL MASHED POTATOES". NO IT ISN'T! THERE ARE A DOZEN OR MORE other ingredients listed under "Ingredients". So what do they mean??? There are no "FAKE POTATOES" in there??? REALLY, PEOPLE! SO, what you get is a mix of white potatoes (instant, flakes) with sweet "potatoes" (instant, flakes) plus a dozen or so other ingredients, natural and artificial. BOTTOM LINE: pretty decent taste for instant "Mashed Potatoes", but the package representation on the front to sell to you IS MISLEADING. The potato mix is just a little bit darker than "plain" instant potatoes. The taste may be a bit better. Worth the price? You'll have to decide. These are four star instant potatoes represented as something more, thus 3 star review.
When I saw this package of "sweet potato" flakes, I thought wouldn't that be an easy way to make sweet potato casserole any time you wanted. From the picture on the package, it looks like it is indeed the real thing but what is not evident until you start pouring the flakes into a bowl (or read the fine print) it is mostly regular potatoes. Definitely not sweet.
These are not sweet potatoes. You can see the flakes are white; this is 99% white potato, with a sprinkling of sweet potato flakes, and mostly added sugar. I like to use sweet potatoes as a substitute sweetener so this is definitely not going to work. Total and deliberate scan hoping you won't see the fine print, just the title.
This is not gonna work. Please remove this product..I don't know what you were thinking and I don't know what I was thinking buying it. Looks nothing like the picture on the package. Please remove before Thanksgiving..
It is requested that my pkg. be left at front door-top step of location but was left at rear driveway gate where it could easily be taken. I am a senior with difficultly walking at times Please note pkg requested to be at front door of location always. Thank you much.
