I wish to compliment BF Goodrich for producing the best tires I have ever owned. I recently purchased a used 2006 Mustang GT and the previous owner had modified the suspension with FRPP and had replaced the stock rims and tires. He had replaced the rims with 18" Roush Chrome Rims and the tires he placed on the new rims are the amazing BF Goodrich g-Force 275/40ZR18 T/A KDW performance tires. I participated in our first Autocross during the MCA Red Rock Roundup in St, George this past April. Not only did I win in the 2005-2012 class, but also I was able to beat the times in all classes, except for one Shelby with a Kenny Bell blower and 4.10 gears. He only beat me by four-tenths of a second. My Mustang was able to beat the 5.0 Mustangs - old and new, the Roush Mustangs, the New 2012 Boss 302s and the other Shelby Mustangs. Thank you so much for making a great time even better.
I have a pair on my rear rims on a 09 hemi orange srt8 challenger. Im on my 3rd set now and everyone of them was very old but took a beating from me and my foot. It takes texas roads and crazy weather very well and I recomend to a friend for a little extra wide grip. Bf has good product for it to last that long and very satisfied with it performance on the street.
The tires are on my old 1991 Dodge Stealth and have a 95Y speed rating - in excess of 186 MPH. I purchased these tires primarily to run on the Bonneville Salt Flats but since I use the car as an ocassional daily driver, I needed a tire for both purposes. I am not disappointed. I exceeded 140 MPH at Bonneville and the tires were very smooth. Due to the 95Y speed rating, they are a little noisy and ride somewhat rougher that the pure street tires which I took off. Traction is good, wet or dry and I felt confident at the high speeds on the salt. I would not hesitate in recommending these tires but be aware, the high speed rating of this tire will result in a rougher ride and some increased noise.
These are the best tires I have ever owned! they are excellent in wet and dry conditions. Great cornering and street or track use. Why would you stop making these! my tire size is 305 40 22 and need a replacement tire do to idiot at a smog center but now I cannot get one I also have friends with these tires and absolutely love them. I used to use Pir@##I scorpion and there bfg's made them seem like I was running cheapos. You really need to bring them back! ASAP
From around town to full launch, these are the only tires I will run. In rain they are excellant, no hydroplaning. Just confidence. Only 1 thing. I have friend who collects Corvettes and he just bought a 2003 ZO6 and you don't make the size to fit his car. There are alot of Corvettes out there.
I have a 98 LS1 Trans Am and run staggered 18x8.5 with 245/40's and 18x10 with 275/35's. I have a big can, stall, all the bolt ons including suspension and the car handles and drives better than the Kumho's that came as a package deal. Long as I am going over 40 I can usually get traction anything less and spin away but that's to be expected. The fronts are like new aside from a nick in a side wall. Lady on a cell phone almost ran me off the road and rashed 2 no longer made Killer wheels. I am planning to replacing the rears this time with 295/35's wish I knew they had that width when I went and got this set. Probably replace on one front with a nick since I paid for the warranty. When I had no cam these grabbed hard and launched well so as long as you have less that 350hp at the wheels 275's or 295's should be good.
I have a2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP. It had Goodyears on it and they are junk. I got a set of g-Force 245/45ZR 18 on it now. Love everything about them handling, ride, Everything. I would highly recommend this ultra high performance tire to anyone. BFGoodrich you make a hell of a tire.
This will be my second set of four tires for my '07 Pontiac Solstice GXP. The car's been modified slightly, and now puts out 303 RWHP (Dyno). These tires look mean and wicked just sitting there. I've had great tread wear (at 1-3 PSI over factory specs). These tires are noisy, but you get used to them. To me, the noise is a small price to pay for the good looks and unbelieveable handling. I've gone to "plus 1" sizing, (245/40 - 19) and they fit perfectly. Thanks, BFG!
These are tires are currently on my Dodge Viper in a 335/30R18 shoe size. The tires are excellent for the price and have held up reasonably well in a heavily modified Hennessey version car that generally only gets 5 to 6000 miles out of a set of tires. They typically get replaced every year. They are not as grippy as say the Rival BFG sells or other competition "pro" brands when I run some local SCCA events but for the price... and with no more miles than I get out of a set...well, they are really a great price point for a car like this. Oh...and yes a little noisy...but if your in a true performance car and your worried about a little extra tire noise then you just chose the wrong car. So yes, you can find a better tire but for the price you can't find a better tire. I will order another set ...as soon as they are back in stock...and that kind of stinks having to wait for 2 more weeks until back in the warehouse...but yes, I am buying these again.
1979 C3 corvette. Highly modified suspension and drive train for road race and canyons. 650hp 650tq 427 SBC The tires just spin...I can not get enough traction to keep the tires from spinning anywhere in 1st 2nd and 3rd with any more than 1/3 gas peddle. and 4th with any more than 1/2 gas peddle. My power band is from 2500-7000 rpm. These are on custom made 18" X 10" centerlines.
