45 k miles. Love them lots of hwy miles. Lots of off road miles. sand, snow, ice. slick rock, mud, loose rock. Lots of concrete.
I put a set of KM2s on my 08 Tundra a few years after I bought it and they were expensive but I believe they are the best quality mud tire on the market. They are a little noisy and they don't do great on pavement but they are outstanding when you get in the mud and the way they make your truck look is just worth it IMO. After the KM2s eventually wore down after about 50k miles I went ahead and got some KM3s and they look even better than the 2s and I feel like they are a little quieter on the highway. Not to mention the 2 sets and over 100k miles over all kinds of misquite thorns and road debris, I've never had a leak in any of my BFGs so far. I can't say the same about the Michelins on my Camry or the Goodyears on my Tacoma. And don't settle for the cheaper Taiwan made Nittos either.
I've always had BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires and have always been very pleased but I decided to give the new KM3 a try. I couldn't be any more pleased! These are by far the quietest and best riding mud tires I've ever had heard or rode with. Once in Montana I drove my truck through many different conditions ranging from sticky mud, slick mud, Ice and snow. I honestly put myself in a few predicaments that I shouldn't have and every time these tires made up for my questionable decisions. BFGoodrich has set the bar pretty high with this new tire and I probably owe them dinner for getting my truck back home.
I bought my set of 35x12.5x15 km3 a little over 3 years ago, I've owned my Jeep for over 28 years by far the best tire ever . It makes the Jeep ride smoother for sure. I've been off road in light and rough terrain and they perform excellent. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for great ride and great grip. BF Goodrich did their homework and research when they came up with the Km3. CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. OIIIIO
I bought these KM3's 2 months ago. So far they have been in the snowy mountains, icy pavement, heavy rain downpours on the highway, deep mud, and just recently sand. I have ran them at 50 psi with no sway and they absorb bumps well at speed. After 5k miles I project them to reach 65k miles... but that is a very very early projection. Anything over 50k miles and there is no competition in the mud terrain tire category.
I am the author of the previously titled Not Sure Yet review. We'll I am pleased to tell everyone that after the remaining 3 tires were swapped and road force balanced, I am riding on a dream. Unfortunately I guess I got a bad lot of tires that seem to of had high spots on them. What those replace balanced it's so nice to ride on new BFG‘s that are smooth, look great, perform great ad for a mud tire qiet on the road.
Bought a set of the KM3s when they first came out. I had the first Land Rover Discovery 2 on KM3s in the USA. 5 1/2 years and 40k miles of wheeling from the swamps of Florida and everywhere else on the East Coast, they are ready to be replaced. No dry rotting, plenty of tread left, they have just worn a little funny (to be expected in a mud tire) and have gotten quite noisy. What am I replacing then with??? KM3s of course!!!! Best tire I've ever owned!!!
I bought these 5 years ago, now with 36,000 miles and still good amount of tread left. I amy buying another set.
I've tried just about every off-road, AT, MT tire made over the years. I keep coming back to BFG for the quality tire that they are. Currently running the KM3's on my Jeep Gladiator. These tires work great on road and are exceptional Offroad. The two main complaints I have, which is pretty standard on all BFG truck tires. Undersized for what size they advertise them to be. And I'm not talking about just a little bit. BFG's are some of the worst about under sizing. ALOT. Once you get to the really tall tires, the prices are outrageous compared to their competitors. I'm in need for a larger size now and the BFG price is outrageous on 39's (which are actually 37.75” tall supposedly) sorry BFG's looks like I'm gonna have to go to your competitor after all these years
Purchased 4 exact replacement tires for my Shelby Baja Raptor in November on 2023 the dealer is telling us they are bad with only 7,000 miles on them.
