Our Ist unit was bought thru Jerrybaker.com in the early 2000 and it is still working. Then I bought from Amazon but now they won't deliver so I found it where I can get them. I have bought a lot of these because I need in each room and all sides of the house plus dedicated units at porches/garages. We have so many solar units and battery powered burrowed in the soil around for gophers rats/mouse armadillo's birds etc but these ones are proven for us for over 20 years: investment pays till now and hopefully for another 20 more years! Thank you Birdx Ultrasonic for wonderful job🙏
I have a rural home 1,500 miles from where I live and every time I visited it, my place was taken over with field mice, spiders and snakes. Mostly mice. I bought 2 of your Electronic Pest Chasers (Transonic Pro) and now every time I visit my place, there are no mice (rodents), spiders or snakes anywhere inside and I can now leave my food in my cupboards and counters without them eating into it. All my bedding and clothing are not destroyed anymore also. I love everything about this product!
Super! I plugged this unit in at my art studio that I have out by a pond on my property where just two days before I'd discovered mice in the loft and in a rolled up rug on the first floor! Right away I heard the mice in the loft skittering around and in 5 minutes I actually watched a mouse scurry out the back door! I've not heard or found any mice since. Another bonus is the setting for mice also seems to be perfect for spiders too because I've not found any spiders since either and trust me, I had spiders!
We had bats crawling up into the roof tiles over our front patio. The bats were quite messy leaving feces on the patio and urine stains on our stucco. Once I plugged in the Bird-X, the bats were gone and have not returned. I was quite skeptical of the device but very please it does the job.
We have had problems with rodents getting into our cars. Mainly nesting under the hood. While they are getting comfortable, they chew wires and the damage was a total of 2,000.00 plus. This Brid x is not just for birds. It emits a tone that they do not like. Save money on damages to your auto.
I had 2 squirrels making their winter home in the over hang and attic of my home. The constant noise and distruction was getting on my nerves, not to mention putting a dent in my wallet! I had tried moth balls, amoina, critter ridder and alot of other things recommended on the internet. I purchased the repeller as a last resort and IT WORKS!! The noise from the repeller is a bit loud but it is much better than the expence of roof repairs. I placed it in the attic and it runs during the day-----off at 10p.m. and NO SQUIRRELS!!!!
Unit was not effective on low level and extremely loud to even the hard of hearing on high level. Unit was purchased to eliminate bugs and rodents in a rest home and was returned to Walmart because of the high level noise it created.
This is the second transonic bird pro that I purchased . The first one worked great and chased the squirrels away, I gave it a positive review, but then stopped working after a couple of weeks . I thought that was a fluke . Few month later I purchased another one since the squirrels returned . I set it up 2 days ago and I'm frustrated to say it's no longer working again . This is a poorly designed product that does not meet good quality control criteria. Remember this is the second one that failed . I have to return this item to walmart tonight and get my money back ! Buyer beware !!!!!!
I bought this item in hopes of repelling the squirrels who like to get inside. In order to do that, it needs to be set at full level which can be heard by humans, therefore, it will not work indoors! I only wanted to drive away the squirrels, not the people in the house! I sadly had to return it to the store.
I have squirrels in my attic. I've tried several things to get rid of them, so this device was recommended to do the trick completely. If one were to believe the advertisement, this machine is the gold standard. Well, in my experience, I say "Not So!" I installed it in the attic and intended to let it run for a few weeks, just to see if the activity subsided. Much to my chagrin, I think the squirrels were jumping with glee at this new plaything. The neighbors asked, "What's that noise coming from your house?" Yet, the squirrels didn't seem to mind. I placed the unit close to where I had been hearing the squirrels, in hopes that this noise would annoy them to the point that they would flee. Nope! And, I made sure I had it set on the loudest setting, as indicated on the rear of the case, as well as the documentation. Then, on the 3rd day, I heard silence! What??? What's happened to that machine? Did the squirrels chew through the cord? So, I crawled back into the attic and found everything intact. I could fiddle with the thing and make it squawk a little bit, but it would quit. If I listened closely, I could hear an oscillation sound, so I banged on it and it came to life. Ahhhh, I was satisfied. But wait!!! In about 5 seconds, it quit again. I went through this iteration multiple times. Now, I've taught electricity and electronics at the university level and I'm a ham radio operator with plenty of experience building and repairing electronic devices. My initial inclination was to tear into this thing and fix it. But….. I remembered that it needed to go back to Walmart. Besides, the thing didn't deter the squirrels. So, now I'm hunting other alternatives. This isn't one of them, for sure! My advice to anyone considering this unit: FIDO - Forget It and Drive On!! This one is going back to Bentonville! --Dismayed in Tupelo
