I have purchased in the past 2 Netvue standalone feeders and 2 cameras that I use for watching birds (on birdbaths) and have been very pleased. I purchased this feeder/camera and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. The quality of construction is great. All accessories are metal and are easily secured. Plus the modern design of the bird feeder would fit into the most elegant settings. There are several methods of securing the feeder to a pole, board or tree. The fact that it has lifetime built in bird identification is such a bonus. Highly recommended!
This is my third Birdfy product and I really enjoy them all! The previous two versions I have are the plastic "cute" models and they've been great, but this new bamboo feeder ups the game in aesthetics and holds more seed which I do appreciate a lot! It's easy to set up and the solar panel is awesome - I'll never go back to the manual charge option. I'll be curious to see how well the finish holds up, as I've seen some frustration in other reviews regarding how often it needs to be waxed for maintenance. But so far, I'm happy!

I got this bird feeder for my dad for Father's Day. He loves it and I often get videos of the birds that visit it. It was easy to set up and has given all of us hours of entertainment.
I bought this today from Sam's Club and the whole process was seamless. From picking it up to installing it was super easy. This is our 2nd Birdfy and I really like the appearance with this once as well the many options it has available. I'm looking forward to see the numerous birds that will visit.
The design is fantastic and I'm so excited to see new birds! Don't forget to add wax so it doesn't get moldy!
It's so much fun to see the birds eating. It identifies the birds for you and even though it seems that sometimes it is wrong, it's generally correct and gives a great idea of the variety of birds. The identification in the app links you to the Wikipedia entry so we are learning lots about the birds by us
This bamboo Birdfy video bird feeder with extended perch and accessories is an upgrade from my last Birdfy. It has 2 large chambers for different seeds. The birds came to it immediately. Highly recommend.

My wife & I bought this feeder in early July 2024 from our local Sam's Club. It lasted less than a month. Aggressive squirrels and raccoons made short work of the sliding plexiglass covers and the bamboo cover surrounding the camera itself. We contacted the manufacturer only to be told that no repair parts were available. For this kind of money, everything should be replaceable. The feeder is heavy to mount, and I also seriously question the watertight integrity of the connector that inserts into the camera body from the solar panel. Do not underestimate the problems you may encounter with its 2.4 GHz wi-fi capability. If your home wi-fi is a more advanced wi-fi system that combines 2.4 and 5 GHz under the same SSID, the camera's wi-fi has trouble picking out its connection. I ended up setting a separate, outdoor wi-fi access point (2.4 only) so that the camera would work...MOST of the time. Seeing a camera disconnected or camera off-line message was a frequent occurrence. Setting up a separate 2.4 wi-fi access point for a bird feeder that is 10 feet from the source of wi-fi should not have to be done. This bird feeder was bought for its novelty though somewhere in the pre-release design and testing phase, someone at the company forgot that it needs repair parts, parts MUST be animal-proof, and modern wi-fi connectivity is not just 2.4 GHz. The saddest thing is the A.I. bird recognition did work accurately most of the time, but in the end, it was a poor "marriage".
