Love that you can look inside. Durable and easy to clean.
Very happy with this purchase. This Bluebird house will not be used till next Spring. We have a verified Audubon Bluebird house but Predators got 2 of the 4 baby bluebirds. We were able to save the other 2 by taking them to a Licensed wildlife sanctuary where they were rehabilitated into the wild. This house looks and seems safer than the one we were using with the opening higher up, and reinforced around the opening. Love the coloring of Blue on this house as Bluebirds are attracted to it. Craftmanship is second to none on this house but still will need to figure out attachment to our wooden post in Spring.
This birdhouse was a gift for our parents and it looks great among their wooden ones. The sides open for easy cleaning or for viewing from the side that has a clear plastic panel that acts as a window and also a protective wall. There's a removable mesh base to provide circulation around the nest when the nest is built on top of it. This does not come with hardware but that is easily remedied with a trip to the home improvement store. You just need a round floor flange with threads and the water pipe that fits it. Once the flange it's screwed to the bottom and the pipe is in the ground, all you do is screw the house onto it.

Well made. I am giving it as a Christmas gift so it is not up yet! I cant wait to get it up. Seeing bluebirds that need winter retreat. This is a good size bird house.
Nice with details the birds will like as the screen to raise the nest and the screen to help baby birds get out of the nest when ready to fly. Only thing I didn't like is that is is really heavy, needs a strong post or backing. Product will last for years !!

I love this bird house. It's very well constructed and should last a long time.
The birdhouse is well made and will last for many years. It is made specifically for bluebirds. The delivery time was really fast and came several days before expected. We were very happy with our purchase.
It is not like the standard Peterson but looks like it will work. I am going to use some old porch posts for the flat top.
