This is the best tasting frozen broccoli that I have ever tried. Bird's Eye has huge pieces of cut up broccoli that when cooked tastes and looks just like fresh broccoli. This is a huge bag and the quality is far superior to any other brand. I use this broccoli to make my cheddar broccoli soup and it's perfect!!
Birds Eye broccoli is my husband's and I favorite, we're thankful that there is already a frozen broccoli that is as fresh as the one in farm and market and yet it stores longer in refrigerator.Broccoli is one of the healthiest vegetables we love to eat. When it comes to cooking instructions it is pretty simple and quick.
I love broccoli and I like to keep a lot in hand but you cant do that with fresh produce because its shelf life barely surpasses a month. This is why I love Birds Eye broccoli florets in the 52 oz bag. My only complaint is that due to the ice that makes it way inside the bag makes the florets mushy at times. Its not unpalatable but I dont prefer it. I usually purchase this with cauliflower and add butter for an appetizer or side dish. Highly recommend! Birds Eye
It smelled exactly like fish. The smell was so pungent I had to get it off my plate so I could eat my other food. Will not buy again.
I have always associated the Birdseye name with freshness and quality. But this bag of florets was anything but. The broccoli was obviously not fresh frozen. About two thirds of the florets had yellow flowering a sign that it is old. Also the green was not right either. I'm accustomed to seeing a bright green color and the pieces were dark green some very mushy. I will try to get a refund given this bag cost 7.27. Crazy
I will never purchase this again!! Preparing my dinner, when I found a long hair in the broccoli bag. I'm wondering why hair nets aren't being worn in this company when preparing foods.

What has happened to the wonderful seal on the bags ? I saw this new blue strip (by the way it sticks to nothing ).. so I spend 8-10 dollars on a bag of veg to freezer burn open in my freezer .. ?? Why ?
I ordered a regular size pkg of frozen broccoli %26 was substituted with a 52 oz size! I am a single 86 yr old senior citizen %26 no way will be able to use this large amount!! Please advise
