Love this spinach! I use it when making anything that is either baked or in dips. BEST when used to make lasagna and Spinach/ artichoke dip. (I do buy fresh spinach for a spinach salad)
Super easy when you want to add spinach to a meal. I just cut off however much I need and throw it in and it is sooo good. Very healthy and all it needs is some salt!
It's the only frozen spinach I will buy because it is always a lovely color green, tastes fresh and never covered in ice crystals because the packaging has a foil like lining that prevents any freezer burn, odor absorbance and helps it to last must longer than other brands
This spinach was perfect for my pizza I kinda thew it in the pan add some cherry tomatoes a little season then topped half of my pizza. My son had the cheese side I had the spinach 😋 delicious.
This a great product that takes up very little space in the freezer. I use this for plenty of recipes. I almost always have at least one in my freezer. It's very versatile in how you can use it. It's very simple to defrost. I use it in everything from dips to side dishes.
I enjoy using frozen spinach in my spinach artichoke dips, it's just important to let it thaw first and squeeze the extra liquid out first. Birds eye has delicious frozen spinach and at a decent price too. It's as close to fresh trading as a frozen spinach can get.
Great spinach, chopped up into small pieces very nicely... Terrific for using to make creamed spinach!! That's what I use this spinach for, and occasionally I take a stab at a spinach souffle. Or I've used this spinach also in a quiche. I like the amount off spinach in each package, too; it's not too much, nor is it too little. If this is all you're eating, for me it's just the right amount for 2 decent-sized servings. I love having this on hand all the time, in case I need to use spinach. Yum!
NOTE: The directions for microwaving should begin, "REMOVE SPINACH FROM BOX. THEN...place in a microwavable bowl. The silver places on the packing caught fire in my microwave. If not altering your directions, I would use a different packing that would be microwavable.
Very good , but where is the leaf spinach I used to be able to get? Please consider bringing it back !! Also the cooked squash.. both were so good!!
My last 4 orders included bird size steamable spinach. And the last four times it's been out of stock. How can that be possible? is Walmart just trying to get people to buy their great value brand? I've bought the great value brand of steamable spinach. it is nauseating and I'm not being overly dramatic.
