I live low carb - mostly...but you can't have Mac and cheese because FAKE noodles taste awful!!! Until now!!!! Real thick elbow noodles rgar are soft and not grainy! It's not homemade style but adult elevated Kraft Deluxe (rge kids will love too!) My only complaint is need big Family size bag!! PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING THIS!! ❤️
I tried this Mac%26 cheese %26 was extremely happy. I have given up pasta rice, potatoes, bread for the last 6 months… it's got life really. It's mostly not hard at all especially feeling so much better %26 losing 60lbs. I do sometimes freak or crusty bread %26 Mac %26 cheese. I can no longer eat things with a high glycemic index… carb ladden foods. They cause inflammation in my gut. I stumbled on this %26 thought what the heck anything covered in cheese has to be ok. But it was delicious. I did do a few things to it though. I cooked it for extra time, I added a bit of skim milk %26 some extra cheese %26 a tbsp of no fat cottage cheese %26 a dash of hot sauce. Salt %26 pepper. The noodles do soften the more you cook them %26 of course you'd need to add some more moisturize when cooking it longer. But you'd have to add you own seasonings to any vegetables you buy. And of course the noodles are slightly green… zucchini is green. Lol I was so happy I nearly cried. Thank The lord they are making low carb no gluten alternatives. Anyway… stop complaining %26 leaving ridiculous negative comments. This is obviously a healthier wheat pasta free version of Mac %26 cheese. 🙄 but for those of us that can't eat wheat pasta this is something to celebrate. Please keep the price reasonable so I can continue to afford to buy it. Please keep making these %26 others items. Maybe a spaghetti squash spaghetti with marinara or sweet potato gnocchi or basil tomato veggie pasta with lower cal Alfredo sauce. Anyway thank you birds eye… I could kiss you. I'm so happy. 🥰
Taste just like regular Mac and cheese
Someone else commented on the way it looks coming out of the bag, and I would agree- it's not particularly delicious looking. However, on its own the taste is decent. If you add a little salt and sprinkle a little cheese it's even better. My son ate it and said “this is so good, it's like that one Mac n cheese I really like”. I don't know what that one Mac n cheese is… but we will be buying this regularly. It's a good side, or a good quick lunch. And I'm honestly impressed with the ingredients considering the brand that makes it.
This was a very good Mac and Cheese veggie dish. Don't think the kids will be able to tell veggies was in that. However, I would put more cheese over the Mac and Cheese veggies to give it more flavor.
Didn't like how it looked when I opened the bag. However the taste is not bad at all. I would buy it again.
I bought this with high hopes of having creamy, cheesy, mac %26 cheese. Sadly, it didn't happen. I cooked it exactly according to the instructions. When I opened it and poured it into the bowl, there was absolutely no sauce. The taste was OK, so I added a little milk and cheese on my own, but that kind of defeated the purpose
The photo on the package is an outright falsehood. What you get is dry green elbow "macaroni" noodles that are quite el dente. Very bland, could certainly use some cheese sauce. Not going to buy again since I would need to buy cheese sauce separately to complete the dish.
To each their own. I cooked over the stove top and the noodles cooked well. It was creamy but the flavor was bitter. I did not like the taste. I will not be buying again.
