We have a golden retriever, a cat and two young kids. Lots of hair and lots of messes. I use the crosswave at least once daily for tidying up hair (just prime the system and do a quick vacuum around while spot mopping anything I see), tidying up food messes (it's great for sticky syrup, spilled cereal, crumbs on the floor), and doing a thorough mop on areas where my baby is playing on the floor (to minimize the amount of dog hair that ends up in her mouth haha!), and cleaning up after the dogs muddy paws coming inside (we get lots of snow so from oct-May he drags in mud, snow, or just wet paw prints everywhere whenever he goes potty outside). I might still need to do a steam mop here and there but seriously for everyday uses this crosswave replaces like 4 items id normally use and reduces my floor cleaning time by sooooo much. Love it! Great that it's cordless. I can't do a full run time of my whole 1300sq ft house but I normally don't have enough time to do that anyways between the kids or pets needing something. #sweepstakes
I vacuum and mop daily. I have a 188lbs Neo Mastiff that slobbers. This has saved me so much time. I love this machine. Best vacuum ever! It is perfect for someone OCD like me.. Don't expect your floors to be dirt free after the first couple of uses. It takes time to get all of that built on dirt up. I can say for me after 2 weeks my water is now just cloudy from at first it was dark grey. It will be the best investment you could make!! I can't imagine life without it now! Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing machine! It is such a time saver being able to vacuum and wash the floors at the same time. Surprised at how strong the vacuum suction is even grabbing up dried leaves and dirt off the front entrance rug with ease. Light-weight and easy to use. The scrubber gets the floors really clean without any 'elbow grease' and only using a small amount of the pet safe washing formula. Super easy to clean out the actual vacuum and components afterwards which is a major plus. Doesn't take up much room for storing. Just leave it on the dock and it's always ready to go. Only one complaint is that I wish the battery lasted a bit longer on one charge. Living in a 4-level-side-split house (mostly tile and laminate with a few rugs), it can only clean 1-2 levels at a time before the battery life runs out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I patiently waited for my new vacuum because my hardwood floor needs good cleaning. I did not receive it, however, until after two weeks I placed my order. I have really sheen hardwood floor (Brazilian Cherry) throughout my house and also have four indoor cats. I believe the vacuum did a good job getting rid of the surface dirt using the wet mode setting. I used tap water with the pets' multi purpose cleaner as directed. The thing I did not like about it was that it left the floor so "dull" looking as if the floor is coated with some type of film. I have to use my feet with a dry floor mop to make the floor return to its normal color. Another thing, when I used the dry setting of the vacuum to vacuum my 9 X 12 area rug, the vacuum pulled a lot of the material and clogged the opening hole for the trash/dirty water bin. It is a good vacuum for what it was developed for, but it needs some technical adjustments, may be, including to be able to reach closer on dirt under kick-toe of kitchen cabinets, and the angle alignment of the vacuum handle when it is being charged should be closer to the wall because it takes so much space (when you have limited space to the most available electric socket and in the way of every ones path).
I use this product to clean my house, majority of my house is hardwood so when I heard about this vacuum I was like I need this so I got it I love the product it does great its self I am just very disappointed that the battery life only last for 30 min that's not enough time to clean half of my house it's like this was only built for small areas not to use on a middle class house and I also wish they put a few more bristles for tougher spots and could get a little closer to the wall base it leaves about one inch gaps from your wall to the area you clean and that's very inconvenient.
I have always had great quality from Bissell products but this one just does not make the mark. It absolutely does not clean/ pick up debris as advertised. I would like to have a replacement one...something of similar look but with much better quality; better vacuuming ability.
