The battery Only last 30 minutes it should last at least one hour so I can finish the floors Without recharging that's the only hangup. I was looking for a rug, furniture cleaner, and came across the Bissel CrossSWave. I viewed videos, read reviews, and checked around. I decided to purchase the CrossWave, I'm so amazed! It's light, easy to handle and use. For cleaning after my 3 fur babies muddy paw tracks, for everyday cleaning or a QUICK need to spot clean areas, I just pick it up off its charger and go. I love the way the head swirls to get into corners. My floors are cleaner, NO more sponge mop and pulling out the big vacuum. This CrossWave is so unbelievably easy to take apart, clean, reassemble and ready to use again, and again. Thank You Bissell! I'll admit, I was hesitant in buying it at first simply because my parents had a much older version that would leak and hardly clean. After reading review after review, I figured what did I have to lose? I was already killing my back in scrubbing my floors with a stupid squeegee mop, and the shark steamer never made my floors feel clean. So I bought one. I absolutely love it and would buy it over and over again. My floors have never felt more clean. I am able to tackle my entire first floor within the battery time span. Since owning our home, I've never seen the sunlight reflect off my floors as I do now after each cleaning. I have two pups and three kids constantly running around, so my floors are constantly dirty. The CrossWave has given me time back with my family and for myself now that I can spend a significantly less amount of time in cleaning floors!

The video's explaining how to work the machine, how to use the floor cleaning liquids and the use and care of cleaning mop heads were great. Botton line-This cleaning system works and saves time. I clean faster and better than before.
I love that you can sweep and mop with one machine and that I no longer have to use a bucket that has dirty water after mopping only part of my floor. I love that it is cordless and recharges with the base that is always plugged in. You do have to take the lid over the beater bar and the dirty water container off to clean and rinse but it is effortless. I hope the price goes down so that more people can afford it because it truly makes cleaning easier and less time consuming. I am super happy with it and all my family is super jealous lol.
I've used the Bissell Crosssave Max several times now and I have to say I'm not that impressed. My toddler threw up yesterday morning and so immediately I grabbed the Bissell Crosswave and it did a good job of picking up the chunks of meatloaf and corn off the dark wood floors that we have but I had to go over the floor twice and self clean cycle twice as well. Today I woke up and the floors still look hazy from the throw up, so I'll have to use it a 3rd time just to make it look clean
I really wanted to love this. Everything it's supposed to do sounds like the perfect life changer. Unfortunately, it has to go through 3 full charges to do just kitchen/dining room hardwood floor, 2 bathrooms and laundry room with tile, and 6 rugs. Plus, it does not fit up under the cabinets in kitchen or bathrooms, or up around toilet area. So the broom still needs to be used first. the self cleaning doesn't do a good job. I've ran it 3-4x, and it's still gunky. I'm definitely disappointed more than anything. I would have paid 2x the amount IF it actually did everything like I expected.
I am pretty disappointed. For the money you spend I feel like it isn't worth it. I don't have a huge house and I barely get the job done before the battery goes dead. It leaves streaks. The back wheels make marks on the floor. It does however get all the dirt off the floor and it feels really clean.

Once the bush roll is wet (which is whenever you use the wash feature) it leaves dirty water on the floor wherever you stop. The videos that don't show this must have it edited out.
