I owned a hard floor steamer from Bissell which was a good machine. No matter what conditioner I used my wood floors always streaked. And of course I had to vacuum before steaming so I had 2 machines out. This is so easy as you can use a dry vacuum, flip it over and use the steam cleaning function. The best part of the steam cleaning function is that the vacuum will also pull up the excess water. There is no streaking and oh wow, the water extracted during this operation is black. I recommend this product to everyone who has a hardwood or ceramic tile floor.
This is my second machine only because my husband has a cleaning business and I got tired of not having it available to use when I needed it. You will never go wrong with purchasing this product! My floors looks professionally done-I get so many positive remarks from family and friends when they visit. Please never get rid of this product! Try it for yourself, you'll love it!!! I live in Florida and most of our home is tile. I love the Flip-It because I am vacuuming while I am cleaning the floors. I have purchased a few Flip-Its over the years because I actually wore them out! I do my floors 3 times a week and really put this product to work. I buy replacement filters and other parts from Bissell but the only thing I wish is that removable brush could be a replacement part purchase, since you can remove it.
LOVE this floor cleaner - use mine daily on pet floors. Love it so much have bought 3 more as wedding shower gifts. I only use the wet side and vac and mop at the same time, no need to do the floor twice! The collection cup is 'tricky' to put back and fills quickly but shows how well it works producing muddy water. The filter does need to be cleaned after each use - I use dish detergent and hot water before putting it way. If you forget to put the filter in place you will not have suction for the wet side. Small/compact size makes it store in the smallest of spaces. The day mine dies, I will urgently get another one!
Light weight, easy to use. It does JUST what it claims. This is not for big jobs but it is perfect for every day use! With my (messy) husband and 4 cats, it will be used every day! I love that I can vacuum, then wet mop with the "Flip" of the machine! Brilliant, Bissell!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
Loved the rug shampooer esp. The lift off device worked really great on stairs. They were pretty dirty and stained but came pretty clean. The only complaint I have is the main machine did not suck up a lot of water took the whole day to dry, with fans running. Enjoy
I have hardwood flooring and vinyl plank flooring along with multiple dogs and cats. My Bissell Healthy Home carpet machine is too large to lug around daily to clean doggy accidents so while searching for a hard floor cleaner I happened across the Flit-!t. Not the most advanced product on the market, but it works! No more mopping around dirty water, no having to lug the heavy machinery out, no more batteries for a wet jet (that never seems to work in my household). I love that the Flip-!t is like a vacuum, mop, and squeegee all in one. The vacuum easily picks up the pet hairs and doggy accidents, leaving behind a clean floor. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver around the house. The only "issues" that I personally have with the machine is the dirty water cup. It is somewhat top heavy, so if you set it down and aren't careful it tips, or a few times when trying to remove it from the machine my arthritis has caused me to drop it, spilling dirty water all over the clean floor. It seems that the dirty water cup could use some type of latch mechanism to keep the two pieces together. The other issue, albeit minor is I find it a struggle to insert the dirty cup, it does require a bit of a push to get it to lock into place. That being said, overall it is a good machine for the price, it does what it should. If you expect it to really scour your floors and vacuum up a pound of debris, then this machine probably isn't for you.
that filter needs to be bleached every 3 days or it stinks... must refill the cleaning fluid once or twice per room.... willl leak if dirty water isnt emptied asap....must empty dirty water container 1-2 times per room... great for cleaning up after dogs and muddy feet and everything else that spills...wish the suction was stepped a notch... dirty water tank needs to go back to the engineering board... it takes some jackie chan moves to get it to go in place....but other than that it works great... sometimes i have to slam it on the ground a few times to get the fluid to come out all the holes but once it gets goin it works great. really hate it though when the fluid doesnt come out when squeezing trigger....i use mine everyday as i have 8 dogs... and its pretty light weight...
Very disappointed! It leaks dirty water when I try to dry vac. I'm sending this back.
This machine I loved it was easy to handle able to use at the drop of a hat. The Select Hard Floor Cleaner is heavy to use and a lot of hassel with cleaning and emptying things. Would not recommend this machine. Please bring the smaller machine back on the market.
