I love this comforter.I also ordered the ivory sheet set to match.i read recent reviews and took their advice,its more of a off white and black I also went to my local store and found a black bedskirt on clearence for $5.00.Great for the price!!!!
I got this twin comforter and pillowcase for $30 (which included $10 for shipping and handling). I assumed that it would be a "cheap" product, and I would probably be disappointed (because the price was too low) but I really love it. It's really comfortable and I love the designs, and the color. The underside is brown, so I can also flip it over if I'm in a less cheery mood (I haven't done that yet though). It's attractive, great for the price and I would recommend it to anyone.
We paid only fifteen dollars for this comforter, and for that, it is a very good deal. The design is printed on, but in way that is coming into style, so it works well. The white could be called ivory, but in direct sunlight I'd still call it white. The fabric feels a little cheap, but it isn't itchy, and it looks very nice all made up. There are a lot of stitch lines, but this only obvious from the back. Overall I'd buy this comforter again without a second thought.
I didn't read review before placing order, and I was so mad when I read that this comforter isn't black and white. I didn't even want to open the box when it arrived today. I thought I was going to have to pay more to return it than I paid for the stupid thing. But now that I see it next to my black furniture, it definitely looks black, not brown. It's just more of a charcoal greyish-black in my eyes. But for sure it's cream and not white. It's good enough for what I needed, and it's even a little cushier than I expected for a $15 comforter.
You can't beat the price of this!!! The description is not entirely accurate, it describes it as black and white. It is actually an off white and it is black just not a jet black and it looks great with my black bed frame and black bedskirt. This product washes up great! And the full/queen size covers my queen size bed with plenty of room.
I would've paid a lot more this product if I'd have seen it first! I was very surprised at how soft the material felt. It looks great in my daughter's room. Just like others have said, it is DEFINITELY not white. It's Ivory. But it is black, not brown. I'd say it's a muted black if anything.
if you want a black and white one dont buy this one its not even black and white more like beige and brown, but besides that its real comfortable and if you get the right pillows youd never want to get up. If you really want to look for bedding, might as well go to the store, because they never look the same
I bought the comforter on sale (happy about that). It's more of an off white/cream color and I wasn't pleased with the lace/floral design either. I actually think it looks better on the opposite side (all black) and I highlighted it with pillows. Since it was on sale, and I am a bargain hunter, I'm not complaining. I made it work. Oh, yes, I have to mention that it has a nice weight to it ~ just not pleased about the color or design.
If you are buying this thinking the title of the product is the color, then don't. We received this and the packaging said it was black and white and it was actually brown and off white.
I am not happy with this comforter set at all. It looked great when i received it however, i washed it in cold water right away to get a fresh smell on it. when i took it out of the dryer the thread ran onto white areas on the comforter. there are areas where the comforter is stitched to the inner fabric --that is where the thread color ran through.
