Despite the fact that I believe the price of all of such batteries is ridiculous, this battery fit my B&D hand vacuum perfectly, works well and Walmart did have the best price that I could find.
The battery fits both my drill and trimmer and has rejuvenated both well worth the money spent.
The batteries for Black & Decker 18v tools work great. We have an entire collection of 18v tools including hand vac & weed eater. The batteries are easy to install, hold a good charge when newer, and fit all B&D 18v tools. We replace the batteries every couple of years because they do begin to lose charge quickly at that point. When they are newer, they hold a charge for most tasks one might want to perform with the tools
Got the wrong battery the first time and had to return it for the HPB-18 OPE. But Black and Decker products are usually very reliable. The battery I now have works great. My old battery was pooping out and I forgot how fast my string trimmer could operate until I bought this new battery. It's like getting a new trimmer.
Standard battery for a good price. Nicad isnt' the greatest but it does an adequate job
This is one of several that I have had. They are a hard working battery,but you must remember that when you recharge then you have to run then almost out, before you recharge then again. If you use it just a short time and it has more power left in it and you recharge it, it hinders the life of the battery. So take care and good luck with all your yard jobs.
The 18v batteries do not have a long life. They are only good for about a year! But I am stuck with 3 of their tools and need the batteries to run them.
I purchased 2 batteries at the same time. Both arrived same day in different boxes. 1 battery works very well, the 2nd battery arrived in a taped package, and will not hold a charge longer than 2 minutes. I beleive the 1 arrived "used", and was repackaged as new. Happy with 1, disappointed in the 2nd.
battery charges very slow and hardly power lasts more than 3 mts.
COMPLETELY DISGUSTED! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY PACKED THIS IN THE USED, BEAT UP CONDITION THAT IT WAS IN. VERY MAD AT WALMART, HAD TO WASTE MY GAS TO TAKE IT BACK TO A STORE!!!!!
