Honestly when I opened the box I did not have high expectations. But when I tried it out I was shocked. It really works! I had a big older dyson before but after knee surgery it was hard to push it around. I tried a stick vac and it was fine on the wood areas but it was awful on the carpet and hugs. This thing does it all. I can easily drag it around and the attachments are super easy to use. I can get under the table and couch without having to move anything around. It also gets under the cabinets without having to stop and change attachments like my old vacuum. It is easy to empty too, which is a huge plus. I hate vacuums that are hard to empty. I was concerned it would get twisted or tangled but it really doesnt. It is much easier to use than I expected. This is my first canister vac and I am glad I finally gave it a shot! I will never push that heavy upright around again! It seems to have plenty of suction and got up a TON of dog hair I couldnt see. If you are on the fence, go for it! You wont regret it.
Love Black and Decker. My old vacuum was one as well. This one is lighter in weight but the can of debris to empty is much smaller. The cord to plug in is longer and makes for easy rotation around the room of furniture. l used it today, works great.
Overall: Good little unit for light work around the house. Pros: Great lightweight unit with a ton of suction power. East to lift and move around, stands on end so it is easy to store. Easy to change wand/attachments. Quick canister removal and easy to clean the bin/filters. Cons: Doesn't have a power head unit, so its a better bet for hard floors than carpet. No on board tool storage so you have to use the little bag that comes with the unit. Wand
It definitely picks up sand tracked in by my dogs. The quality is less than I expected. I don't think it will last a long time due to the plastic hoses and slip-on parts.

Let's start with the bad. The floor head does not have a beater bar or rollers. Why is this a bad thing? Pushing and dragging a flat non-rolling head on carpeting is exhausting. Yes, you can turn down the suction, making it easier, but if I wanted that sort of a workout, I would go to a gym. It's enough of an issue. I would not repurchase this or recommend it for use on carpets. Now the good. The unit is lightweight, and the wheels make rolling it around easy. The adjustable suction is a dial you can adjust, which is necessary due to the cleaning head not having wheels. I wouldn't say I liked constantly adjusting the power for varying surfaces. It was either too much suction or not enough and, again, exhausting. This would be good for hard floors or detailing using the attachments. The attachments have no place to store on the unit but come in a storage bag. Cleaning the canister is relatively easy.
bought this thinking it would work great... not worth the money! suction wont pick up!! ive cleaned all the filters and still nothing. i wouldnt even give it a star! 👎
The vacuum does not move easily on hardwood and ceramic floors, the wheels tend to slide instead of rolling. The hose and wand is too short, need about 12 inches added to the hose and about 6 inches added to the wand. The combination of the problems make it difficult to move the unit while vacuuming the floors.
This is a horrible expensive vacuum, has no better bar, just cheap plastic one with a hole. I paid 192.00 with delivery, piece of junk
My Box was delivered in a timely manner; however, the box was damaged to the point that the vacuum itself is damaged so we will never know! I can't use it.
