It's solid 31 pounds in weight so while it is not light you want an air fryer that will be sturdy in the the outdoors. We are big air fryer people and we love the fact that the air fryer can be used with a propane tank, with batteries or with an ac adapter which makes this a wonderful flexible piece of equipment. Has a great digital interface and handle for easy transportation. Would be great for the backyard, tailgating, or picnics. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable air fryer is well made. Heavy duty and well made. It really lives up to the Blackstone brand. It is propane powered and does require electricity. It can be plugged in or it has a battery pack on the bottom which makes it very portable. The basket is not very large, but feels sturdy. It is heavy, but strong. The electric face shows the temperature as well as a timer. The propane heat with the strong fan power gives off great dry heat needed for crisp food.

I cooked chicken nuggets and fries for the kids at lunch and hash browns and steak for us at dinner. We tried fish also. Came with recipes. The basket is not dishwasher safe. My husband loves this air fryer better than my old one. Food cooks evenly and actually browned. The handle is heavy duty and the top handle I can carry it around. It's 3.5 quarts and digital timer and temperature controls. Great for camping. Uses one pound propane tank.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blackstone Air Fryer is heavy (31 lbs.), but it has a nice handle to carry it. It is easy to assemble. You'll need a 1 lb. propane tank plus some batteries (for the digital display and fan) if you're taking this on the go. It comes with good directions and it takes maybe 5 minutes to setup. The digital readout is terrific. It's easy to read and to adjust the settings, including the temperature and timer. It comes with a drip pan. It's not too loud, but you'll know it's on. It has a good-looking, rugged design. It's a good size for travel (14”x13.75”x13.75”) and easily fits into a Camper or RV. The quality is outstanding and I like how the drawer secures into place and the four posts stabilize the bottom so it sits steady. It's not going anywhere if it's windy. The performance is great. We tried it with wings and it worked well. I can't wait to test out our other camping favorites. My husband likes this so much that I may surprise him with the Blackstone grill/griddle for Father's Day. I'd highly recommend it.
I'm giving 4 stars because this the problem... it is too heavy to carry and it is too big. If im going to go camping, for cook all the meals will work, but ocupate too much space, and I will need a van or a truck to take it with me. It won't work if im going in a car. Now, for having at home all the time, yes it will work. But what is the reason to cook outside of my house when I can buy an airfryer electric and cook indoor. I don't know. That is my review. For the rest it works like others airfryer.
it works perfectly but they need to work on quality control as the orange paint on the sides was damaged and flaking off and i have seen other reviewers saying the same thing if you only care about functionality then its perfect but im worried about how far this flaking will go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im giving 3 star to the Blackstone camping portable airfryer because: 1) it is only for camping, and you will need to have a truck or a RV with enough space to carry this airfryer. It is way too heavy for be portable and the measures from outside are 13x14 in. 2) even though the motor runs with 8 AA batteries, you can optional connect it with an electric charger and you won't need batteries. But the flames runs with propane. 3) The airfryer draw door closed but it is a little hard to inserted it, and more if all the airfryer get hot. The crumb tray bends after get hot. 4) it tooks 20 min to preheat to 380° and 30 min to cook 6 chicken legs. 5) all the walls were burned after the first time that i cooked on it. 6) you cannot see the flames, so it is difficult to see if it is turn it on. You can only hearing when you turn on the knob. The only way too see it is removing the tray with the food as it is cover with the walls of the tray door. 6) pros: the timer works perfect the same that the temperature, and you will know if you are out of propane because the temperature started to decreased. The foods cooked perfectly fine. The measure for the tray are 9 Lx7 W x3 1/2 D It is made of aluminum inside. And has a handle for carrying around. Warning: the hole airfryer walls outside will get extremely hot, handle to carrying included. So be aware for not touching when you are cooking. The handle for the tray it won't get hot. You will need a extra pan to put the tray on for removed the food.

The flame kept going out, I could only use the lowest low flame. The flame also went out while air frying poppers. It is very heavy to move around. Easy to clean, with a removable crumb tray that's not flimsy.
