This Blackstone cast iron deep dish pizza kit has been a great addition to my kitchen tools. It's heavy duty and easy to use. I love that the handle is removable. The wood trivet is really nice for setting the hot dish on. The depth of the dish is really good for making deep dish pizzas. I do wish the kit included a recipe or 2 to make it easy to get started. Overall, I am happy with this product and I would recommend this to others!
This is a very nice pan with a removal handle. It also comes with a wooden square trivet. The Blackstone name is embedded in the handle and the emblem is on bottom of the pan. The handle is easy to put on and take off. The wooden trivet is a plus when baking/cooking with this pan. Everything you need is in this kit. Can be used for more than pizza. Very good weight and is made very well. The square pan is about 13 inches from handle to handle. The inside of the square pan is about 9 inches and is about 1 1/2 high. The handle is about 10 inches in total length. Great addition for my kitchen. Love it!
This deep dish cast iron pizzza kit is amazing. You can make great pizzas and display them as well with wood trivet. So easy to to use the handle to retrieve your pizza from the oven. I would definitely recommend especially if your family or you enjoys making pizza. Love the look and the fact that itbis cast iron because it holds heat evenly. You can't go wrong with a Blackstone product.
This Blackstone Cast Iron Deep Dish Pizza Kit with Removable Handle and Wood Trivet is a nice set. It includes a heavy duty cast iron pan, a heavy duty cast iron handle, & a wooden trivet. I like how it comes in pieces because it can stacked & put away without taking up a lot of space. It is fun to make a pizza, & with this it makes it convenient. I placed the dough inside the pan & placed it in the oven & it came out nice & thick. It can be taken out of the oven with oven mitts or the handle, or if cooking over the fire, you can use the handle to keep your hands away from the heat. The handle just hooks onto it, & you can carry it. It is a little bit heavy, so I use both hands. When it's done cooking, I place the cast iron pan onto the wood trivet. The trivet is a nice piece of wood & feels well made. This set is easy to use & feels well made.
This is one of my favorites! We love making deep dish pizzas. I also use this on the grill for everything from fish to veggies and of course pizza! The handle is incredibly convenient. It is a very well made, good quality all purpose cast iron pan.
First of all this Blackstone Pizza Dish is so nice. I love the way it looks and feels. I think this would be a great gift idea. But it actually cooks a great pizza and you can use it in the oven as well as a grill or a pizza oven. You don't have to have a Blackstone Pizza Oven to use this and it makes a really good pizza just in a regular oven cooked at 450 degrees. I do think the size has something to do with how well it cooks. I've had much larger pizza pans and they dont cook as well throughout the entire pizza and this one does. It's perfect for two people. The pan measures 10" x 10" and is 1.5" deep. The handle is nice for the grill but I find myself not using it when its in the regular oven. The wood block (trivet) it sits on is very handy. My favorite accessory for this pan. Highly recommend! I think anyone would really enjoy this!
The Blackstone cast iron deep dish pizza panset comes with the deep dish pan, removable handle, and wooden trivet. The cast iron is seasoned and really nice quality. The handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold on to when moving the pan. The pan should be hand washed only and dried thoroughly. This is a great addition to my cast iron collection!

This pan does a brilliant job of a deep dish pizza - easy to use, easy to clean, and such awesome pizza! The handle made getting the pan in and out of my 22' conversion pizza oven a breeze and the trivet made transporting the hot pan effortless. The crust came out crunchy and sturdy yet had the air bubbles and fried bread bottom...i will be using this pan on the regular!
Let's start with the pros and let me tell you; there are many! Fantastic quality, every piece is really well made and will last a long long time. Even though it is heavy, it's not so heavy that you can't easily move it around and in and out of the oven. The handle is a great length! Perfect for carrying the pan around the kitchen and makes it super easy to get the pan out of the oven, absolutely love it! Only reason I'm giving this four stars and not five, is that it did not come with a manual/ recipe book or any small booklet to get started with cooking with it. It would have been nice to have ideas for pizza dough or temperature recommendations and so on. That part you need to research yourself . We tried making pizza and it turned out really delicious. Hubby is going to do loaded tater tots next! It's also great for making potatoes and lots of other meals. Definitely a great quality purchase
