These are SO USEFUL. I can't even count how many times our griddles needed to be leveled. They are hard plastic. It comes with 8 and are stackable. They work with tabletop griddles as well as the bigger ones that you need to put a wheel or leg into. I'd say they are about 2x2 square and about 1/2 inch thick.
My grill is on a porch that slopes away from the house. The grill is now level thanks to these shims. It only took a few seconds to place two of them – one at the front caster and the other at the back. These give you a quarter-inch gain per shim. Could really come in handy if you were tailgating with a portable grill. Or if you were grilling on a lawn. These look sturdy enough to use under a flower pot, too.
I live in Arizona, leaving my grill outside, the elements got to it and some of the wheels came off. I got these leveling shims to counteract that problem. Now I can level out the grill when I finally decide to use it. Thes shims are very sturdy and well made, they are all black, so they will match any type of grill you have. Having 8 in the box, you can use as many you need to have an even surface. The wheels or legs will fit inside the groves on the top of the shims, and they will interlock in multiple formats if you need to use more than one. My property is graded/raised, so this feature will come in super handy as well. The blocks are 2.5 inches length and width squares, if using 3 for one leg, the weight is evenly distributed. I would highly recommend checking these out, grilling season is just around the corner!!!
So I have a big gas grill that's at least 10 years old. Since the first day it's unlevel and rocks. I tried these levelers and what a difference! It took about 2 minutes and the grill sits perfectly level and no wobble. Product is very sturdy and holds up to moderate weight. Box has 8 levelers. I only needed one for my grill but I also found several other uses around the house for them. I used 2 under my shaky bakers rack! Small and sleek they work great. I definitely recommend this product. 5 stars and more!
I was so excited to get these Blackstone Leveling Shims because where our Blackstone sits is totally unlevel. Unfortunately they were on back order, so when they finally arrived we are not able try them out. We just received 3" of snow and 5 below. However, they are heavy duty and we are excited to utilize them once the weather turns better.
Got this leveling kit for my Blackstone griddle for camping. I like that they are very solid, and can be used as single or you can stack them. I've used wood shims for past trips so these will be an upgrade. On top they have half dome nubs so it's easy to stack either 2 on bottom and 1 on top or just stack them straight up. I'm thinking they will work for other applications as well.
The Blackstone griddle leveling kit worked perfectly on my griddle. They fit really well which made installation very easy. My patio is not very level making my griddle wobble making it awkward to cook. The leveling kit fixed all of that allowing my griddle to be stable and safe for grilling. The leveling kit is a must have for your Blackstone griddle. I definitely recommend these .
Leveling shims are useful for leveling surfaces in places like the garden, or on carpet where the ground or foundation is not even. This kit comes with 8 leveling shims, measuring 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches. Made with high quality plastic and is very durable. I like that it's stackable and feels very secure. You can even use them to level and support heavy equipment and machinery, making it more secure and safer.
These leveling shims are quite handy and work very well. Their shape helps them stay were you put them regardless of if they are under the legs or wheels of your grill. They also interlock so if you need to stack them, they stay in place. Constructed of a nice, hard resin they will not be damaged if they get wet and should last a long time.
The first pictures i seen i expected them to be weighted and bigger. Which is needed because my yard is on a slope. They arrived and they are tiny. They arr lightweight and you only get 8 in the box, so you cant place them as shown in the photo where its 3 on a leg. They are too small to do anything unless you are already on an even surface. They are good for that but they are obly about 2inch square. They are made with plastic and i feel as if the weight alone of the griddle could break them if you use more than 1 of them. I cannot recommend these they are a waste of money
