The Blackstone Braided Stainless Steel Regulator Hose is a very smart product to have when using propane tanks,we use it on our Fifteen pound propane cooker,it regulates the gas flow to the cooker so you do not have to adjust the pressure of the gas to the cooker,it will keep equal pressure until the propane is almost out.This hose is weather proof and is Three Feet long and is stainless steel.It seems to be made very well.Great to have for the fish fry,shrimp fry,or the crawfish boils.I use the propane cooker for some water bath canning and this will be a big help,this regulator hose will be used a lot this spring and summer,i will have tomatoes to can.I am glad i got this,it makes me feel a little safer using the regulator hose with the cooker.It says that it good with a Twenty pound propane tank.You can not go wrong with this.
This is easily the highest quality gas line/regulator I have seen for a grill. There is perfect stainless braiding, no gaps or strands out of place. The regulator is over engineered and extremely durable. The ends are made of high quality ends. I am going to buy a longer one so I can store my propane tanks under our porch for a more cosmetic appeal. They are quite durable, I would have no worries of this hose being close to something that could occasionally rub on. This is one heavy, bulletproof gas line.
This Blackstone Stainless Steel grill regulator and hose was selected as part of a promotional program. This regulator is well constructed and solid. It's easy to connect and the valve doesn't leak gas and is safe to use. It's easy to attach to the gas bottle. The hose is flexible enabling moving the bottle to different positions when using or not in use. Keeping an extra available is an asset to have when needing a new gas hose regulator
This was for my husband's griddle he just got a few months ago. He got it to put an extra propane bottle on it. It was very simple to hook up also. He just popped it out the box and it screwed right on and he hooked his bottle up. It seems to be pretty good so far we havent had any issues with it.
This is a replacement for an older model, that had become worn, mostly from age showing cracks. I ordered this to to replace it, in hopes that it would be good quality, and a little more durable. It was hard to tell the quality of the braid from the internet pictures, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see it was of very high quality, well packaged, and a perfect length to fit my unit... The hose clamps look well swaged, and no leaks were found when i did a soapy water test... I'm sure this will outlast my original model, and last many years to come.
The Blackstone Braided Stainless Steel Hose I received was extremely well made and very easy to install. It is intended for use on BBQ grills but I installed it on my propane outdoor firepit that had a standard rubberized hose. I am quite sure the Blackstone propane hose will last many years to come as it is sure to withstand outdoor use. My suggestion is if you need a hose replacement for a propane tank item BUY the Blackstone Stainless Steel Hose and forget the cheaper rubber options as they will wear in time. Also make sure to make a soapy solution and a small brush to check for leaks when installation is complete. ENJOY YOUR NEW HOSE!! I AM !!
I know this states it is specific for a black stone griddle but it has universal adapters that are common to all propane tanks and most grills. Which is what I needed for my gas grill. The main hose connector to my grill became loose over the years of use and I found that this hose connector was a match. The quality is excellent and I expect it to last for years. Turned on my propane tank and my kenmore gas grill fired right up again.
I received this 3 foot, " stainless steel regulator braided hose " from the folks at Blackstone outdoor cooking appliance company today and I can say, this regulator hose is built to last for many seasons. Unlike the usual "rubber hose" this is a great upgrade to your outdoor grill. This weatherproof hose is easily connected to any 20lb tank for appliances made for the Blackstone 36 inch or the 38-inch grills, or the many compatible grills made. Time to get my grill out, replace the hose with this new, stainless steel braided hose, and get it ready for the season. With this new hose and regulator, I know I will get many seasons of use with this well-built hose.
This was a great replacement hose for my trusty old LP / propane grill. The hose I replaced had deteriorated badly from years of service and exposure to the elements… it did not have the braided steel cover encasing the hose. My braided hose is 40 inches long (excluding the regulator mechanism). The connector on the tank side is large and easy to hand tighten, and the other end is a 3/4" (19mm) corrosion resistant brass connector that mates up to the grill. This unit was an easy swap out, and the protective stainless cover looks like it will give years of reliable service. I expect this product will keep the gas flowing to the grill and my other project for the next 15 years (easily) *The hose will also work on my homemade backyard foundry setup – for melting aluminum*
The Blackstone Braided Stainless Steel Regulator Hose is a great upgrade to my grill. Much more sturdier than the hose that came with my grill. Easy to install and long lasting braided steel. It is also animal resistant (chewing, scratching) which is great for me since I live in the woods with wildlife all around.
