Extremely easy to install propane to natural gas conversion kit.
Having the limitless supply of gas is amazing. Never have to worry about running out of fuel mid meal look. I love the fact that it is always ready.
THIS IS A PERFECT FIT ! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS REMOVING THE BURNER TO REPLACE THE PROPANE ORIFICE WITH THE NATURAL GAS ORIFICE. I HAD TO USE A HACKSAY TO CUT A SMALL GAP IN THE METAL THAT HOLDS THE GRIDDLE....IT WON'T HURT ANYTHING...THIS IS A GOOD CONVERSON KIT!!!
Quick and easy, what else can I say…my griddle runs on natural gas now.
We converted the griddle to natural gas this week. We found changing the orifices with the tool supplied very difficult. We disassembled the controls for easier access. Used it last night with great success. Worth the effort.
The understanding of which kit to purchase for which Blackstone was very confusing
Conversion for the 22” griddle is impossible without cutting metal. I'm not sure anyone actually tested this out on the 22” grill but it's literally impossible to remove the 2 burners without using a dremel to cut out 2 large notches in the grill. I spent a lot of time trying to find a different way but could not. I also own the 17” griddle and it looks like it's possible, just the way the 22” is built makes it not without cutting a lot of metal
Does not work with 22" model 1666 even though this model is not on the incompatibility list. Seems like any model with the H shaped burners will not work with kit without modifying the grill.
Does not work for 22" tabletop griddle without cutting the case or popping the rivets.
More involved then i expected. Will be returning it
