This speaker works fine after reading reviews I as a associate of walmart bought one and figured out the bluetooth problem you must download Google home from your phone to set the speaker up woohoo problem solved walmart 1083
The quality and sound of the speaker is pretty good. It has a good base sound for what it is. For me this speaker was perfect. I love being able to use the Google assistant when I need it. I will admit that it is not the loudest or most powerful, but it works great and makes a great first TV speaker.
So amazing to be able to change the channel with your voice! Great sound and loved being able to control other lights and devices with google assistant.
The bar by itself works kinda funny BUT when I connected the Chrome cast and put the Google home app on my phone the sound bar changed dramatically! It will give u the theater experience. Way better than expected. The Google home app let's u adjust as u prefer, and so many more options if u have a Google account!
Awesome, bought one for my girlfriend and ended up wanting one of my own. The microphone pics up so well that when we use the Google Assistant on our phones in the bedroom, this soundbar (which is in the living room) often answers the question too. It was a breeze to set it up, although I did have a little "glitch" hooking it back up after my girlfriend changed the Wi-Fi password, but that could also be my phone's issue. It has decent sound for the price range, its loud enough that you probably wouldn't feel comfortable playing it at full-blast at 3 AM if you lived in an apartment building out of respect for your neighbors, but you're not going to be throwing any parties with it, as it just doesnt have the bass or oomph (watts or power) to take center stage in any environment where there is competing noise to deal with. I needed an optical cable to attach it to my smart TV, and, frankly, I'm probably never going to connect it to my TV, there isn't much difference from the ones in her 65" 4K UHD. (A cheaper or smaller TV might benefit.) But, for the price range, it holds it's own next to similarly priced soundbars, so it's almost like getting the Google Home Assistant thrown in for nothing, and I've bought two of them for $30 and $50 so it's worth it to someone like myself who likes the Google Assistant, or Alexa service enough to buy one just to have the AI and voice recognition by itself. I wrote this review upon seeing some of the complaints in the reviews and in my experience with it, its won me over I guess enough to stick up for it. I think I like it more for the Google Assistant than for the soundbar capability, and I didn't even consider that when we bought it for the old TV she had then. We've been using it for about 3 months, so I have a pretty good picture by now, I got the chance to put it through its paces before writing this review, unlike most the people who complained about setting it up initially, if that helps. I'd recommend buying it, you could always return it to Wally-World if you didn't share my enthusiasm afterward. I doubt most people will though.
For the price you pay it's the best option to get
Works great, sound clarity is good not great connected quick used the group pairing to have all my surrond speakers in sync
The best sound for the price! BUT the Blackweb 32-Inch 2.0 Channel Google Assistant Smart Soundbar cuts out all the time. NO IDEA WHY either! Very Frustrating! Sitting at home trying to watch a movie, sound cuts out for a second and comes back on. Sound no sound sound again................................. WHAT THE HECK????!!!!!!!
There is no way to tell how it operates when she plug it up I tried buying 3 different types of plugs that it recommended it did not work I then worked several different ways with the remote and could not get it to even turn the power on returning it to the store
I don't usually leave reviews but after the frustration of using this device I feel I should. The rating I'm giving it reflects it's inability to connect to the Google Home app or via Bluetooth to my phone, reset multiple times and following the steps in the manual that came with it. I'm also frustrated that each time I power the bar up it takes 30+ seconds to flash lights then tell me about Good assist, ironic. Thankfully I had an Alexa input that works perfectly and as it should so all connectivity aside from the aux in on this soundbar are redundant. Sound quality is good enough and the remote is handy. Had I paid full price for this I would have returned it, not doing any of what it promises in terms of Google assist/Bluetooth is just ridiculous. Not a good advertisement for Google Home that is for sure. Avoid or keep receipt do you can return.
