Okay, I'm going to give it a tentative 5 rating. The FPV works well. The delay you hear about with WiFi FPV is really not bad. The only time I get in trouble is when I let it get low and throttle up too late, but I do that with my 200QX flying regular FPV. Video quality is great compared to my 5.8Ghz equipment. I flew the same pattern that I fly my 200QX, around the back of my house out of line of site and the video stays clean. It is also a blast to fly line of site like a non FPV quad. Battery life is as advertised. Around 5 minutes so purchase an extra battery. Questions? I'll answer as best as I can. Irhnn

I like this little platform. The flights I have had have been stable even in gusty situations up to 10 mph. It is palm sized, but the video is decent. I like the arm to hold my phone and the Glimpse app makes recording relatively straight forward. While I have only flown it around the yard, I plan to do some indoor flying. Like most quads of its size, it tends to be a bit challenging to keep a smooth controlled height. The stabilization is quite good compared to other quads of its size. It is not a racer, rather it is meant as a basic camera platform which is why I bought it. The batteries last longer than I expected (over 5 min flight) which is a bonus. Charge via USB. I am happy with the purchase.
Fun setup great video quality. Kind of like a mini parrot drone but without the confines of wifi signal for control. Wifi distance still applies to video though. Only downside is the blades do not hold up to any abuse. Replacement blades are pricey for what they are. You will still want a good amount of airspace to fly in until you get good at it
I truly love the video quality of this little fun flyer, much better than others I've flown. It's easy to fly and has lots of power to make it fun for everyone. It does have a few minor downsides... 1: With the props on the underside it isn't well suited for flying outside in a grassy area, you have to have a smooth surface to takeoff from. 2: The pointy ends of the prop guards tend to snag on carpeting, making it prone to flipping over on takeoff/landing.

I bought this for my son in a bid to get him started off with FPV knowing that it would need to be used indoors during the winter weather. It's quite smooth while flying, but has not taken crashes too well. I've already glued one of the legs back on - the springiness of the frame is fine for protection in hard landings, but if you come down heavily sideways, the natural springing does not help (hence our breakage). The props are also super brittle - again, flown indoors where the house temp is ~70F so I woudn't have expected them to split and chip away quite so easily. the upside down mounting doesn't seem to adequately protect the props so bumping into things (not hard) has resulted in the blades not lasting long. And that's my biggest complaint - the cost of replacement props. Are these made of gold or something? They are way overpriced - especially for how easily they break. They are an unusual size, but I intend to find an alternate propeller as I can't afford to keep replacing propellers at $6 a set plus shipping. For that price I should be able to get 5 sets of 4. The wifi signal isn't too bad - picture quality is nice, but the range indoors was a little disappointing - flying into another room and around a double wall, the picture froze (distance was < 35 feet away. We will want to confine flying to mostly line of sight it seems. The lag is not too bad. Battery power is ok - flight time not bad however when it starts winding down your power at the end of a flight (for battery protection) - it comes down a little faster than you'd like. You basically need to bring it down immediately or it will drop out of the sky. A little more warning about the battery state would be nice. In spite of my complaints, it does fly nice and smoothly. Very stable and the video it shoots is smooth. It will probably be a bit more enjoyable in summer with no wind where the lag from the wifi and the wider open spaces will cause fewer breakages. If you don't have a very wide open plan house, don't expect to be able to get much indoor flying with this model.
The Glimpse FPV BNF looks like it could be fun but it isn't. 1: If you want to use a MLP4 transmitter that you may already own be aware that you have to purchase the particular cell phone holder extra. The holder that comes with the BNF version can only be used to connect to larger JR radios. 2: Beware that the wireless camera connection only works with a select few cell phones, i.e. I-phones and a few Android phones, which offer a specific communication standard. I for my part cannot connect the camera to my Android phone that I bought in 2016, a Yezz Andy 5M. In short, I cannot recommend the Glimpse FPV BNF and consider it a waste of money. I would never have purchased it if I would have bee made aware of these shortcomings. However, no information regarding these issues can be found neither in the article description on this website nor in the manual of the item.

Another strikeout for Horizon Hobby. I have owned one for only two months, with around 10 flights on it. LVC has gone out on the Glimpse. It's not the first time a blade/Horizon Hobby FC has gone out on me, AKA Nano QX as well as a nano qx2 fpv. It gives me around a minute and a half worth of flight times now, before the LVC kicks in and brings the drone crashing to the ground. Now after 2 months I can't find my receipt, so there's no use in calling Horizon Hobby product support to try to get a new FC or to send it in to be repaired, great. I am no longer purchasing any Horizon Hobby products anymore. I am done with the low quality products, and the high prices that go with them. I have checked it out front and back, and it definitely is the low voltage cutoff, (LVC) that is kicking in prematurely. I have used fresh 600mah nanotech batteries with it with the same result. Another $120 down the tubes! Bye bye Horizon Hobby!
