We have been feeding this to our youngest pitbull since he was brought home at 10 weeks. We are well versed in food and skin issues with the breed, and thus formula has worked great for Brody! Shiny coat, no skin irritation or ear infections, and he isn't stinky with this one
I really love how easy this product is to use and how well-made it is and thought out. It is reasonably priced. It's a long lasting. It's a go to for me and one of my favorites to use. I am a long time user of this product and I would highly recommend anyone looking for the same!
I have a 5 m old French bulldog who has the most sensitive stomach that most foods give her bloody stools but since switching her to this they have gotten better we also add canned pumpkin to it and she loves her new food and so does her tummy!!
When we brought our pup home from the breeder last August, he suffered from diarrhea. I have always been a Blue Buffalo fan so naturally I got it for him. We tried the Baby Blue Healthy growth chicken flavor for puppy then puppy lamb and oatmeal but the diarrhea persisted. After talking to the vet, she suggested a food with as few ingredients as possible. That's how we found the Blue Buffalo Basics puppy Turkey and potato. My sweet boy loves it. Since he will turn 1 this week, we will begin the transition to adult food but luckily they have the same food for adult dogs so I don't anticipate any belly issues. Fingers crossed.
I switched to the basics line of Blue Buffalo when I noticed my dog was always itching his skin. This has helped tremendously. Less ingredients are always better. The first ingredient is Turkey and that makes me feel better. He's a happy dog too so that's a bonus!
My 7 month old puppy really loves this food. We met with our vet thinking she was having allergies, as she was chewing on her paws quite a bit. The vet said it could be a food allergy or an allergic reaction to grass or other outdoor elements. She suggested we switch our pup to a food that doesn't have any chicken or beef, which is how we came across Blue Buffalo Basics. Our pup loves the food and the gnawing at her paws has gone away.
I bought my puppy the Blue basic Turkey and Potato recipe food and she loves it. She is allergic to chicken so thought I'd try Blue basics. Great choice!
This has a strong aroma, my puppy came running into the room as soon as I opened the bag and couldn't wait for me to put some in his bowl. He is a 15lb puppy who is expected to be medium sized. I bought this in hopes of helping his skin allergies since it is made with turkey instead of chicken. Great list of ingredients.
This was the second kind of puppy food I bought for my puppy. I only switched because the store was out of the lamb one I bought previously. She seems to love this one just as much! We mixed with the other food for the first few days and she's on to this one exclusively now and is so happy! Would recommend!
When my dog was a puppy I started him on blue Buffalo thinking I was getting him a high quality food. Unfortunately my dog had severe gi upset and after a visit to my vet (who also works with our local zoo) he urged me to not use any of the blue Buffalo foods. He said they make great claims, but the claims made are inaccurate and blue is known as fibbing on their nutritional ingredients. I switched to Victor dog food and the tummy troubles ended!
