Exactly what I needed. Heavy, sturdy, decorative. It was missing some washers for the base but we put it together without them.
It's great. Nice and sturdy and yet it slides easily on my deck when I need to move it. Holds my free standing umbrella very well. And it looks nice.
This thing is not going anywhere. I wanted a heavy umbrella base for a stand alone umbrella. I purchased this one and I am pleased. I would like to state it is slightly different than the picture though. I have two knobs to hold the umbrella in place instead of the one shown in the picture. This base is very heavy. I had to drag it to my patio. It is nice looking and big though. I think it is worth the money. I had a $30 umbrella base that I purchased for an umbrella on my deck that sits in my table. It moves too easily.
This is a great, sturdy umbrella base we use on the pool deck. Very satisfied with the construction and quality
Product was received on time and with good packaging. Since product was 66 lbs expected the box to be damaged in shipping but was not. Will have to wait and see if it keeps its finish over the winter. Easy to assemble and holds a 9.5 Feet umbrella up right with no side to side movement.
We use are Umbrella base in are back yard. The product looks better in person then on your web page. My wife loves it. Fast delivery and EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you Joe
This is a very heavy stand and tightens well to the umbrella pole. It keeps the umbrella from flying up in wind and also keeps it from falling over. So glad I bought this one.
This is a nice base for my oversized umbrella. It's sturdy and nicely made. I didn't realize that the base was much bigger than the other umbrella bases.
It was hard finding an umbrella base that was at least 50 pounds, let alone one that wasn't ugly. This one is great!! It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but it's great for our 9' umbrella. I didn't give it 5 stars because Walmart messed up the delivery by sending us an extra umbrella instead of this base. But they corrected their mistake and we had it by the end of the week. Also, there was one minor chip on top of the base, but barely noticeable. Our umbrella pole does not reach the base pole where the screws are to fasten it. My husband really tugged at it, and it doesn't seem to go anywhere. Maybe with a huge gust of wind??
unit arrived without noticeable damage. Unit was not difficult to assemble. Lone problem noted was poor thread produced reference the second of two screw pieces used to lock down umbrella pole in base. The extent of the problem remains to be determined as umbrella has yet to arrive. Worst case scenario will require the return of 66lb base unit.
