With 4 cats and 2 little dogs, Bob makes my life so much easier now. I'm not grabbing the broom every 30 minutes because Bob gets it all picked up for me. Even the little pet hairs! I love this! Now I can have a bit of time for ME. :)
Oh how we love our new Bob!!! I haven't had to sweep since he came. Our remote didn't work but looked online and got Bobsweep number and gave them a call. They said I should have a new remote soon. He works without the remote so it's not a huge setback, but would be nice so we could tell him to go home when we're ready not when he's ready. I recommend him to everyone!!!!
Bobsweep, words cannot explain how happy i am with this product. He is so smart; picks up dust lingering around, crumbs from last night and even pet hair that i dont see! He comes with a mop attachment that blow my mind!! Microfiber cloths leave floors streakless, stain free
I suffer from chronic pain so there are days I struggle to do a simple task like vacuum my house. I have been dabbling with the idea of purchasing a robotic vacuum for a few months now and finally settled on the bObsweep PetHair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop because I have three pets(2 dogs and a cat). bOb was super easy to set up out of the box and I was super eager to see how powerful he really is, I was SO surprised to see that he could easily pick up cat hair off the floor! I have a long haired cat and my Shark vacuum struggles to pick up all the hair! The first time I went to clean out the dustbin I was actually DISGUSTED to see how much bOb picked up that my regular vacuum missed. I live in a really old house so sometimes bOb gets stuck on the uneven floors of my kitchen and bedroom with hardwood floors but bOb will shut off automatically if he runs into any issues which is also great because sometimes I forget to go ahead of him and pick up the smaller pet toys that bOb doesn't go around. I live in over 1500 square feet and bOb has NO issue navigating my house easily goes around furniture and the pets! He even cleans under my futon!! bOb is also programmable so you can set a cleaning schedule and have him automatically start! He also returns to his base when he is low and charges in a short period of time. As a chronic pain sufferer, bOb has made my life SO much easier because with 3 pets it's sometimes REALLY hard to keep up on vacuuming and he cleans my carpets better than my regular stand-up vacuum. I am So glad we welcomed bOb into our home!
I received BoBsweep PetHair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner this past week and unboxed the product a couple of days ago. Quick Start: I was a bit hesitant to try BoB as I wasn't sure how much I needed to do to get is started. Putting it together was a breeze! It took me five minutes to add the side brush and and read through the quick start guide. It did take about an hour to charge all the way. Performance: It does make a humming sound but the noise level is less than your typical hand held vacuum cleaner. It seemed to do a fantastic job navigating around the house. We do have expensive furniture in our home so I did follow it around during the first 30 minutes or so to prevent it from bumping into furniture and creating little nicks. But because it moves slower, the impact it makes contact with furniture is not that bad. It ran for about an hour an a half before retreating to its dock. We have a small dog at home and BoB did pick up a good amount of dog hair (and much more). I do have to say that BoB is dog friendly too! We have a min pin mix who is inquisitive and scared of anything that moves. Because BoB moves at a good slow pace, our min pin is able to stay calm while BoB does his work. Worth It? This is definitely the best investment for busy moms. I work full time which makes it harder to keep up with the responsibilities at home. So any machine that can lessen my work load is considered a huge blessing.
I waited a few months to write my review so that I had time to fully understand my bObsweep and see how it worked. Let me start by saying that I had no idea how powerful this little guy could be! I have always used my shark vacuum cleaner and thought it did the job but after I charged my bObsweep and used him for the first time I was shocked at how much he picked up! Dirt and pet hair I didn't even know was there! Seriously, filled the entire container in the 1st full sweep. Gross right? It will pick up a lot of dirt even after I have used my traditional vacuum. The best thing about it is that it has a UV light that kills germs so I know my faux wood tile floors, carpets and rugs are really getting a cleaning! Things that I learned about bObsweep: 1. He doesn't go in lines. On his first sweep he will randomly go around figuring out your room and finding his pattern. Don't worry if he goes by some dirt. He will come back to get it. 2. The charge is good for about an hour of continuous cleaning. Now if you have a very large room, he will continue to work until his battery gets low and then will head back to the charger. That means sometimes, with his random patterns, he may not get every square inch. If you use him everyday there really wont be much to pick up though! 3. You can schedule his cleaning times! Although it says you can clean while you sleep, depending on your furniture and cabinets this may not be a good idea for you. For my home, bObsweep gets wedged in 2 particular places. Under my media stand and under my dishwasher. He will keep cleaning in that one stuck place and I will have to grab him and move him so that he can keep going. Not a problem though. I just run him while I'm cooking dinner so I can listen for him! 4. Empty his container and clean his bristles often! With all the tiny things, dirt and hairs he picks up make sure to check the brush and empty his container after every full use. It will get fuller faster than you think. This guy is a deep cleaning machine! 5. Sometimes he may need help finding his dock is he has gone too far. I just pick him up and put him closer. Not a big deal. 6. The kids can use the remote to steer him to clean up their messes! Or if he has missed a spot you can steer him to clean it right up. 7. He will become part of the family. I didn't realize how much of a HUGE help he is and how much I truly need him until I got him. It simplified my life a little more and made me feel like my house was a lot cleaner with the uv light and deep cleaning ability. All of my 2 dogs shedding hair is kept off the floor and no longer sticking to my socks!. 8. He will clean under the beds! Huge YAY on that. He also will go under the dressers. Now my home feels even more clean. 9. He won't fall down the stairs. He has a sensor so that when he is cleaning at the top of the stairs he won't fall over. 10. He cleans the corners! 11. You're friends will want one too! I received this product for a review and fell in love! All opinions are mine and mine alone.
Oh my where do I start! I love my bobsweep, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. I don't have the time to sweep, but bob does!! Thanks for a great product!
The first three weeks of using him which was daily we watched him and sometimes used the remote control because you could send Bob where you wanted him to go unlike a family pet or kid. Bob does exactly what you want him to do. Now we just let Bob do his thing which is to clean up after this family making things easier for me. I used to lug out my vacuum from the laundry room every single night to keep up with the amount of hair and crumbs here. We have rugs throughout the house except for the kitchen and bathroom, plus we all have allergies so staying on top of cleaning the carpets is extremely important. My husband used to complain about the hair around the vacuum parts all the time. With Bob since we do it every day there isn't a ton of hair wrapping itself around the roller. I no longer have to give my vacuum cleaner a haircut because Bob is on the job! This doesn't mean Bob never needs maintenance. He does. When Bob's holding tray gets full (I empty once every two rooms), he stops and shows an error in the screen to let you know he needs to be emptied. It is a small tray so depending on the amount of dirt, dust, hair and such you have to empty a few times. PROS: Bob is self cleaning. You can set him. You can program the time you want Bob to go and he cleans even if you are not home. Bob is never in jeopardy of falling down your stairs. I had no idea about this little feature. The first time I used him I stood by the stairs so I could put my leg near him if he went to fall. NOPE..Bob is smart and goes right to the edge and turns around. He is a robot after all and highly intelligent. Bob has bumper guards that allow him to bounce off things if he bumps into anything. It is how he moves out of areas he gets into. Even tight jams. It is pretty amazing. He comes with little sweepers for edging and corners that you simple insert into holes under him. They spin as he moves cleaning out all debris from the edges so that Bob can go and vacuum it up. Bob knows when he needs charging. You don't have to worry about him dying somewhere from battery drain in your house because he senses when he needs a charge and heads right back to the charger. The charger emits a tiny beeping noise that calls him back. You can also hit charge on the remote and it will send him right back to his base. Since we always have to give our vacuums a hair cut due to our long hair here, we need to get to the roller easily. Our other vacuums have always needed a complete dismantling to get the roller and the band out. NOT Bob. He came with a screwdriver in his goody bag and it is only one screw that allows you to easily take out the roller. Remove all hair from the roller and anywhere else it wraps and insert it back in. Probably takes no more than 2 minutes. Cons: I wish the container inside him was a little bit larger but that is really the only con. Bob has change our lives. We love him and highly recommend him. I don't know how we got by without him before.

I was so excited today to get bob in the mail today, but after opening it up I noticed a rattling sound coming from the front of the vacuum. I had to open it up and check, perhaps it was just a screw that had fallen out or a piece of broken plastic. To my surprise it was a blown capacitor. How did this miss Quality Assurance? I'm so disappointed, now I have to wait a month for Walmart to ship me out a replacement. Guess this will be a late Xmas gift. Buyer Beware!
