I've used this protein powder to help with weight loss and some muscle toning. I've normally done videos such as P90X and Insanity. This protein powder keeps up with what you need. You CAN lose weight and get toned using this product. It clumps a little bit if you don't have a proper mixing cup. But again, you don't HAVE to spend over $40 a tub of protein to get the results you want.
I use this powder in the my smoothies for the extra protein. I normally use the Vanilla favored protein powder, but this time I thought I would try the Chocolate Peanut Butter favor. The flavor is more Peanut Butter than Chocolate to the taste. The flavor added to the frozen fruit in my smoothie is a little weird, but a nice change from the vanilla. This brand of protein powder from Walmart is a value at the price. I always order it to be delivered to my home so when I order other items I reach the free shipping threshold.
Since getting my gastric banding I went looking for a protein powder that provided good taste and was cost effective. After trying many brands I came across Body Fortress Whey Protein Powder and found it to be tasty, non-gritty, filling and satisfying. The flavors offered are better than the usual Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. I make mine using Unsweetened Almond Milk. I especially like that when adding ice and blending it in a blender it makes it thick and frothy much like a milk shake.
Great flavor and not available at local stores. The whey protein we want, so we have 3 or 4 flavors on hand at a time and rotate to keep things interesting and tasting good. Try adding a banana and plain yogurt in a blender with the milk and protein powder!
I was hesitant to buy this product but after all the reviews I thought let me give it a shot. Well, it is pretty good let me tell ya! I mixed one scoop with 4 oz 2% milk, 1/2 a banana and 2 teaspoons of vanilla ice cream and a few cubes of ice. It was yummy! Just like a milk shake. I'm using this to get more protein in my diet since I don't eat a high amount of meats. I tried the fruit punch shots but couldn't take them.
This protein is priced well and does the job just as well as the expensive brands. Mixes fairy well and I recommend using milk rather than water.
could not beet the price . I also use power as a topping on my coffee with the whipped milk great taste .
It's definitely a good price but I would highly recommend mixing it with milk as it does not taste very good with just water.
Hubby loves peanut butter so I thought he would love this like the chocolate & the vanilla. He tried it w/water & then milk. He said the milk helped it a little but he'll stick w/chocolate. He said it was bland.
This is a great product however the taste leaves much to be desired. The regular chocolate flavor is much better if your just mixing it with water. With the chocolate peanut butter flavor I have to mix in some yogurt or something to make it takes good.
