During Covid 19, we are teleworking
I don't know what the fuss is about from other websites, but this thing is awesome, and fun to put together. The instructions were very easy to comprehend. I would definitely recommend.
It's a little small and wobbles less on a hard surface, but works on carpet too. I've used the machine a few times now and am very satisfied at it's ease of use for a quick workout when I can't get in a run outside. Set up wasn't super easy, but it was managable. I was nearly able to complete without the help of my fiance (man help :) ), but I wasn't able to get one screw to thread on one of the pedals. He was able to do this after a few tries and we put the rest together with no other hiccups. I do wish the display were a little larger in order to see the outputs more easily. It also takes a few cranks to make a noticable resistance difference. Other than those minor details, I'd say this is a great machine for the price. It's also pretty easy to move around. I like to work out in the living room, but can easily tuck it away in another room when company is over. It makes a little noise, that may wake a light sleeper in the next room, but really isn't that bad. Overall, I'd say it's a good deal!
Only took a 2 hours for me to put together by myself... Smooth motion, the fan isn't too loud. It does rock back and forth slightly when you get into a good fast jog, but it's easy to get used to. The display is a bit low to see really easily. It's great in the respect that you can switch the handle bars to stationary. Only about 50 lbs with wheels on the front so it's super easy to move from room to room, and it's small enough to fit in my closet with plenty of room to spare. The only thing I don't like is that you have to tighten all the bolts every now and then, but a little maintence is to be expected, I haven't had to yet but spraying some WD-40 on all the moving parts to keep everything quiet and smooth is a must too
Putting it together: instructions could have been a bit more clear; some parts of the directions were very good. Not too difficult to put together, but I was a little nervous about making a mistake, even though I'm pretty good at mechanical tasks. Lots of parts needed, but they were labeled well, and that helps alot. Didn't take too much time to put together. Still not sure if the tension device is working properly or not. Have a very small apartment and really appreciate having a machine that doesn't take up a lot of room. Easy to move around; seems to be very sturdy. We'll see how it holds up after more use; just barely put it together. So far so good! I felt secure when I got up onto it and started cycling.
Very lightweight and compact. I like that it is non-electrical so I can put it in the middle of the room without having to worry about it being plugged in and then move it back to the corner when not it use. It is a littly noisy when you get going. The tension knob turns really easy, which is not a good thing if you have little kids that come by and change your settings all the time. My 2, 4, and 6 year olds love to get on it and get it going. It doesn't look like it, but it is pretty sturdy and can take a beating. The kids use it more than anyone else but they love it and get a great workout from it. When my husband and I use it, we can also get a great workout. It works great for the whole family!
Nothing spectacular about it. It does what it is intended to do. It's an average elliptical that gets the job done but if you're looking for something really fancy with extra gadgets, this is not it. I enjoy this elliptical.
Works well for me because I am under 120 lbs with size 7 feet. I would not recommend to someone over 140 lbs. Took me 3 hours to assemble with no other help. Assembling instructions were difficult to follow. The monitor is useless to me because it is unreadable from exercising position but I don't care.
It never stayed together the screws kept coming apart. Couldn't even ride it
Although I knew this would be a light-weight piece of fitness equipment, I was quite disappointed in the performance. Yes, it was fairly easy to assemble once I was able to get the pedal shaft and attachment lined up, and it is compact which works well in my apartment. However, the advantages end here. It is definitely NOT designed for heavy use or for an intense workout. It is impossible to get "up to speed" because the unit is too unstable. I am a small person (<105 lbs), yet the unit is still pressured to support me and remain stable while in use. The upperbody handbars do not stay secure in their fittings - I must tighten them at least once each minute while I am working out. Even though I am only 5' tall, the stride is very limiting. Also, while the knee lift is safe, the angle of movement is too steep (like running downhill or walking on an inversely inclined treadmill), which actually strains the knees anyway. This also forces my feet up to and over the front of the pedal, and alters the angle of my feet in my athletic shoes such that I get blisters above my heels. It also over-uses my calf muscles, causing severe strain (remember, I worked out regularly before buying this piece of equipment for home use.) I have been working out on various elliptical trainers for 15 years or more, including light-weight home-gym pieces of equipment, and this has been the least satisfactory of any I have used thus far. I caution anyone looking for a piece of equipment that will support an intense regular workout - especially anyone heavier than 120lbs - to think twice before investing in this particular item.
