I am a fan of vitamin shoppe's product "bodytech"...I prefer the pills verus the powder form because of the taste...it helps with the soreness after a good workout. I agree with the pervious post...overall great product.
Starting taking BCAAs and I must say after a hard and heavy work out and awaking the next morning, the stiffness has almost vanished. Must be the BCAAs. ( 41years old Bass Player)
if your a young kid i would recommend this...this stuff is great, im a 15 year old kid and just started working out. before i would be sore and was stuck at 135 now im never sore and max went up to 145 after one week its great stuff.
I've never been one to take supplements to help me build muscle, but after looking further into muscle building and ways to improve, I found that I need to take supplements such as BCAA's to recover and help my over all workout. After buying this product and taking the recommended amount, I found immediate results. I've added more weight to my sets, and more reps per each set as well. My recovery rate from 2-3 days, has gone to just recovering over night. I don't feel as sore as I used to, and I feel stronger and much better. At such a low price, why not buy it? I highly recommend taking BCAA's!
This is so much better than the powder form. The powder is very bitter and doesn't mix well. These are easy to swallow and so convenient on the road, plus you will actually take them versus the powder version that will sit in your cabinet like mine for a year.
I've been weightlifting for 10+ years and I tried BCAA for the last six months, I have to say this is the best way to get muscle recovered. The past 3 months I have been training my chest 3 times a week (bench press, etc.) and the soreness vanishes in the morning like the other guy said.I changed my doses from taking 3 capsules 3 times a day to 3 capsules 2 times a day (one in AM, one after workout) and it still does the magic.GENDER: MaleAGE: 30-44
Prior to a few months ago I had no idea about BCAAs, L-Leucine, L-Valine, or L-Isoleucine. Honestly these names look made up. But after reading an article about their benefits in Mens Health, I quickly logged into Vitamin Shoppe and picked some up. Do a tiny amount of research and you'll see what I'm talking about.GENDER: MaleAGE: 30-44
Brought these as I started having issues with recovery time and soreness...was not a fan of the pills and the size but for the price I tried them. Been about 2 weeks and I already feel the difference.GENDER: FemaleAGE: 45-59
I'm happy with my purchase of this product. It has made a huge difference in my recovery time and my level of soreness after lifting. I was skeptical before I tried them, but wow, the difference in how I feel the day after a nice, strenuous night of lifting is amazing, I'm not nearly as sore the next day and I've definitely noticed an increase in muscle. Here are my complaints: 1. When I got the bottle (I ordered online) several of the capsules had come apart in the bottle so I didn't quite get the 100 I was supposed to but not a big deal. 2. These capsules are HUGE (in my opinion). I don't usually have any issues swallowing any type of pill, in fact I prefer pills/capsules, but these things are big, some days I struggle when trying to swallow them, so if you don't do well with pills, these are not for you. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the results. I'll most likely purchase again.GENDER: FemaleAGE: 18-29
I don't know why they changed the formula. Whose idea was this? I've used this for years it used to dissolve in my juice completely with minimal taste. Now I have to whisk it and it still doesn't completely dissolve. So I wonder what is it doing in my system? Please change it back to the old formula and let me know when you do. Thanks.
