I'm a senior on a budget and I bought the Arlington House black wrought iron patio set AND this umbrella base. Both the base and the patio set are good quality for the low price at Walmart. I'm very happy with it all. Very comfortable too. The rocking motion of the chairs is relaxing. Even without a cushion they are comfortable. Over 200 lb capacity. Items arrived very quickly and table was very easily assembled. One person can do it! No tools.
Bought this to go with my Better homes & garden table. Looks great & seems pretty sturdy. Has multiple inserts inside base to make a variety of sizes of umbrella poles fit.
These are a great! We are really pleased with the quality and the looks of these patio umbrella bases. I would buy these again.
I would buy it all over again
We were looking for a sturdy, heavy umbrella stand for a table on our new deck. It's late in the season and the stores were out of them. We ordered this one and it was just what we needed.
Just a bit of info...the ring on top has 2 sizes.On our first attempt to put the umbrella in, it wouldn't fit....but then discovered there are 2 ring sizes , took out the first & it fits perfectly!!!
This product is pretty sturdy compared to other umbrella bases I've had over the years. The sale price makes it worth it.
The price was right, so I ordered 4 of these to go with 4 umbrellas (also identical) - oddly, 3 of the umbrellas fit in the bases but the 4th base was sized differently and none of the umbrellas fit it without removing the spacer that holds the umbrellas in securely. As for looks and quality otherwise, they were ok - about what you'd expect for the price. In addition, these would not ship to my zip code but would ship to my friend's zip code 3 miles down the same road via UPS. Why they couldn't reach me, I have no idea but found it not only inconvenient but very odd.
Put the Umbrella in it and the wind keeps blowing it over. I do love it but needs more weight to it.
This base was recommended on the walmart website for the 9 foot Coral push button tilt umbrella and is terrible. The umbrella falls over everyday in light breezes and is cheaply made. Do not buy this base.
